I don't think the beads actually decrease ring sizes to the measured amount. There's still a lot of open room for the flesh to squeeze in. I'd just guess that decreases the size by around 60% Delta. (Delta is the difference/variable between 2 states/measurements)

I have a question - I've been reading that rose gold rings cannot be resized because rose gold can crack. Is that the case? And if so, could I do sizing beads instead for a half size resize?
Thank you for the comment, on your question, Not true, Rose Gold can be sized professionally without any blemishes and yes you may also add sizing beads to Rose Gold for that size. The size of the beads determine the size your ring will be. Hope this helps, thanks again

Do you recommend the ring balls/beads rather than the "speed bumps" on the inside for a female with a larger knuckle than finger? I am a 6.5 and I have trouble getting the ring over my knuckle, it took me awhile to get it off the other day and it's brand new. I saw the ring humps on the inside and the balls also, I just don't get how it works in all honesty cause it seems it's taking even more room from the inside of the ring lol. I forgot to mention, it is a bit loose on my finger too but of course not on the knuckle. or is the main point of these to actually go up a size in the ring so it fits your knuckle and then the beads help fit your finger better? So the sizing would be based off our knuckles rather

I just did the ring, I did melt the balls but I am learning so I just filled down and it should be fine. 😀

Can a ring that is 14k Gold over Sterling Silver also have these resizing beads done?
Yes but the piece would have to be plated afterwards because the plating would come off

what is the minimum amount of equipment i would need to do this? i paid a jeweler 40 bucks and feel a bit ripped off seeing how simple it was.
