I built 2-wire and 4-wire hydraulic hose at work very often as one of the services we offer. 95% of the hoses that come in are from the hose itself failing, rather than the fitting breaking/seizing. Its impressive how long the fittings can last in various environments and climates and still function as you'd expect while the best thing you can do for the rubber sometimes is just trying to put protective sleeves around them to get another year or so.
Lol, came here frustrated as ever. Been trying all day to get these started. Then..... left hand thread. Ill be damned. You saved me from looking like an idiot at the hydraulic shop tomorrow. Thanks.
These fittings work really well on Chinese import equipment, just wack of the metric end, put one of these on then it's easy to hookup to USA made tractors.

Fantastic video! No non-sense, right down to business! I didn’t even know they made re-usable hydro fittings! Good job Sir!
Glad to help!

Hehe no problem
So this type of hydraulic line doesn't have to be crimped?
That’s correct the way the fittings screw on keeps them secured

Nice work
I would think you would want to use Hydraulic Oil not Grease as lube so as to not contaminate the system.
How do you feel about these fittings in thermoplastic parflex ?
I haven’t used them on that type of hose but i think the thermoplastic has a thinner sidewall? so might take special fittings
What is the hose use for or what can it be use for ?
I usually make them for hydraulic lines but sometimes for air lines or diesel fuel
How much pressure good for?
5000 psi max is the advertised pressure rating
Thanks for the videos.
Glad you like them!
Wow, that's perfect timing for this. I want to move the hydraulic unit for the auto lift in the garage.
9 yr old hose I see. Get what ya pay for.
