This was Londoners holidays going Hopping ..special train to the hop gardens..money earnt..towns earnt money ..kids had holiday....looked forward to hopping ..even during the bleak dark days of uncertainty..made many mates from 'oppers' including my Gypsy lady

If you look carefully at the beds you will notice that the mattresses are stuffed with straw and are two tier, mum and dad on the actual bed and the children underneath.
