For those who are finding it difficult to improve their French speaking level, know that if you speak French for 20 mins everyday, in 1 month you will have a wayyy better level than if you just speak a little bit each day and you skip days. The frequency is important for you to build momentum. A big thing my Students have found useful is to “read out loud” books, subtitles on French videos like this one, anything really! What you can do is listen to a sentence in this story, then pause the video and read out loud the French subtitle that you just heard. Do your best to copy the pronunciation that you just heard. Reading out loud is a good place to start, since you don’t need to be creative and waste time searching for words you can’t remember! Instead, simply read what is in front of you.
