I have a lot of friends from everywhere (mostly non-english native, me included) and besides english our only common language is japanese (and sometimes only japanese and not english) so conversations between a bunch of us usually are very japanese-intensive. This clip felt like very familiar ground to me lmao

I can’t speak Japanese, but Anya’s always sounds unique when speaking japanese. Like there is still a non japanese accent there but still very good.

IRyS really does give me, "EN Suisei" vibes, sometimes. Amazingly good singer, very pleasant voice, usually chill vibes and sweet personality, but also has an incredibly menacing side and aura to her, every now and then.

Saw a meme pointing out that maybe it's a VSinger thing since AZKi had music videos with a dark alternate self and disturbing visuals, including said dark self eating what's implied to be raw human flesh and then shooting her blood covered self in the end ("I cannot stop myself" is the video for anyone curious). And even if Suisei isn't currently officially called a VSinger like IRyS and AZKi, she was initially in the same VSinger/VDiva branch, INNK Music, as AZKi before the merge with Hololive.

I've said it before but I don't know what I expected her to be like, and this was definitely not it. I absolutely love her streams bc on one hand she's adorkable and then sometimes, she's sorta scary, as Ollie and Anya found out.
To be fair, this Nephilim's Descend of Hope is similar with Doom Slayer arriving at Hell to ruin the demon's day, eternally.
Her half-angel and half-demon lore is really fitting because like you said she's really adorkable but then there are also yabaiRys moments like this lol

The way IRyS says "shaanai na senpai" really sounds and feels like how Oshino Ougi talks to Ararararagi. There's a playful yet condescending tinge to it, albeit in this case is done in good (read comedic) faith I think.

If you look into the nephilims in the apocryphal bible books, they are kinda fucking crazy, and Irys says she is a Nephilim, half angel half demon, but in the Abrahaman texts descriptions of the Nephilims, they are the offsping of angels and humans, but the texts also say that demons are angels fallen from god's grace, so Irys might not be a Nephilim, but a pure angel instead, so yeah
