Very cool! I also have been using a particular application for chord display and this one looks very nice, I will definitely check it out. Joyfully yours!
Just last week I was searching all over the internet for a plugin to just do chord detection like this, but I couldn't find anything that wasn't about a decade old and unsupported. I just came across this video by chance and it's exactly what I wanted and more, thank you for sharing this. Especially as a longtime guitar player trying to learn more theory on keyboard, the tab/fret diagram function feels tailor-made for me.
Had no idea it had its own piano sounds! I've just started learning some jazz and it's been a game changer to be able to know at a glance whether I've hit the more uncommon chords correctly or not. Such an awesome little tool! Fairly sure I discovered it through your videos but honestly can't remember at this point!
In the videos, I use OBS to record my screen and position everything with that. That doesn't help you on your normal desktop though. In that case, you need to use the "always on top" feature in CW and position them around your sceen in a way that makes sense to you.
Yes! I sent out an email to the people on the waiting list that we've got a small delay due to waiting for app store approval. Hopefully in the next week or so...
Yeah, I'm doing it manually in After Effects. Would be cool to have something which can create designs like that from MIDI data in real time. Hmm... maybe my next project...
