KFP3 was really great. I thoroughly enjoyed it and one of the things I loved about it the most (aside from its animation, story, heart, characters, etc) was how it acted as a satisfying conclusion for Po's character. If they decide to end the series here, I'll be satisfied. If they decide to do more, however, I'm game. From what I've heard, there's been talk about there potentially being SIX movies in this series; which means we could potentially be only half-way through this series. But, again, I'm game whether they decide to continue the series or end it here. :) As for Norm of the North...let's just let that movie fade away into the bargain bin at Wal-Mart.

To summarize, Kung Fu Panda circles around Po's self-discovery: In the first Kung Fu Panda, he discovers what it means to be a martial artist, both on the outside and more importantly on the "inside." In the Kung Fu Panda 2, Po discovers who a person is "today" defines them more than who or what they were in the past. Now in Kung Fu Panda 3, Po now tries to discover what it truly means to be the Dragon Warrior, and to finally walk the path he was "destined" for from the very beginning and what he's supposed to do. All three films cover three entirely different forms of the topic, but they all have one thing in common; the more you take the time to discover yourself, the greater you'll become, but only if you take the time to do so.

This is a really cool idea, thanks for the reviews. I was interested in seeing Kung fu Panda 3, but was worried it wouldn't surpass 2 in it's straight to video vibe I personally got from it. I'm stoked for what you have to say about, and in general for Zootopia in march. As well as the rest of this years animated theatrical releases.
Did anyone else notice the stellar stills and montages that Kung Fu Panda 3 had? I loved it! It seemed as if it was taking some of its style from graphic novels and comics. I also really liked how Kai had a distinctive theme in the music throughout (Sounds like a clip from the song "I'm so sorry" from Imagine Dragons).
Now this is a project that could be an interesting time capsule in a few years, with more or less initial reactions and the sorting - unlike some certain brothers around.

I really disagree about tigress, I think Angelina Jollie is awesome as Tigress. Yes tigress is a kinda one tone character, but that's what makes the moments when she does step out of character so awesome, when she gives Po a hug, when she is scared or sad. it gives so much more feeling and depth.
Can't ever say how awesome the Kung Fu Panda movies are. Each one is a gem. When I first heard of the first movie it didn't interest me that much; Jack Black playing a fat Panda that does Kung Fu? Nope. But when I finally sat down to watch it I was pleasantly surprised by amazing action, story, character development and emotion that never fails to move me to tears.

But Kai's greed got the better of him unfortunately :U I know Kung Fu Panda 3 is probably the last installment of the series, but I wouldn't mind seeing a fourth Kung Fu Panda movie where Po actually became friends with his greatest enemy.

Saw KFP3 yesterday, I actually hadn't seen the first two, but that really wasn't that bad considering how good and exiting it was.
