Yes, This is Affecting Children. A few days back I saw my younger brother asking me to buy him a mystery box after he saw the video on Slaypop Channel. I gave him a half-hour lecture to make him understand that if every box has more valuable items than the box's price, then the company making these boxes will go bankrupt.
So my advice will be to keep an eye out👀 for what kids in your families are watching.

Its weird how youtubers which started with different type of content have started making content which is just about their lavish lifestyle and amount of money they earn. i really liked early flying beast vids where he used to talk about random topics. At this point buying something expensive like a sports car or fancy car isn't even a expense for them but it is a investment as it can be used to farm views.

I think this where the concept of “Mr. Beatification” that has been in talks with western youtubers comes into play. It becomes a self sufficient money cycle. Make content = make money = use money to create bigger content = make even bigger money. Which leads to people only watching this stuff and leaving genuine content creators behind.

I was never aware of this side of INDIAN TH-cam! I only watched the first video of Mr Beast a few days ago and felt it was boring. Our parents had it easy. They just warned us not to be in the company of Bad people and we had a safe environment at home with the correct value system but now wondering what I might have to go through after 20 -25 years if my future kids get exposed to such content on YT.
Parents still need to be responsible, yes it's harder to do so but there are many measures...even in the western world, parents but parental controls on the internet so children can only access what they need for school work etc, they take the time to monitor what kind of content kids consume and teach them. Some children are required to give their phone to their parents after a certain time

yes this is really a serious issue my 8yr old sister watches Gamerfleet all day and has slowly started to hero worship him and has become addicted tto watch hiss videos just because he has good cars and has gaming pc and does gaming .........i tell her not to hero worship any youtuber but kids nowadays ignore....... even parents don't care and are handing over their mobile (uncensored social media and ytt) to their kids at a young age..........no charecter development stuff anywhere even the cartoons we watched when we were kids had a moral message ......thanks to put up this topic Vedant

Viewers must also be aware that many videos involving money are fake and created solely to gain attention, as money is a vulnerable target for most middle-class and lower-middle-class kids. For example, videos claiming to teach quick ways to make money often attract young viewers who are unaware of the scams involved.

no you're right! i used to like watching gamerfleet's vlogs but these days i just don't relate to his lavish lifestyle content (and this is not me being jealous like good for him!). Watching my favourite youtubers unboxing 100 mystery boxes just put me off for some reason; i was almost influenced... i think the reason people enjoy watching such videos is to vicariously live through these people, escapsim and also a genuine curiosity.

Vedant Bhai, I think your thumbnail idea is simple & great to create an identity, but I think the background colour needs a little variation before it gets monotonous.
You can assign colours for each case maybe red for tragedy/dark side stuff, yellow for alert, blue for positive etc etc. you can figure it out.

I don't agree on this actually....compared to other daily vloggers and TH-camrs they come across endearing, approachable and far more relateable. No swearing, bad words or vulgarity, promoting sanskaar, respecting parents. Yes they have a big house now which they do use for content, but very grounded middle class values still, show off with buying lots of designer cars clothes bags shoes etc.

After watching these gamers videos my brother of 12 years age always says that he wants play station pc to play these games and all...i have tried to make him stop watching it but then starts crying and shouting at me...last time i tried to make him get in watching travel vlogs and explained that you will see new things about world like development of other countries how people live there, different culture and knowledge about history but after watching 2-3 videos he went again to watch these gamers and these challenges video...what can i do but now it's turn less as summer vacation are over whole vacation he watch these videos like 6 to 8 hours and he never went to play in this whole vacation...I am worried about him😕😫
Similar case with my brother too I told him to watch something which provides knowledge about history or world but he only watch those nonsense gaming and gambling promoters youtubers

Even if he didn't watch these kinds of videos, of children in his class have a gaming console, he would be throwing tantrums because of FOMO. In every generation there is always something a child wants which is perhaps on the "wrong path" or unattainable for a middle class family to afford...the only difference is how they are exposed to it, temptations have always been there

Imo there's nothing wrong with the content. Parents should monitor their childs to a certain age, & tell them about real life, that what they are watching, what should they watch, what their limits. If any kid influenced by a mystery box or any type of product video and bought the product then it's not the influencer fault it's fault of their parents. I understood that our past generation wouldn't know all about this but i think that era passing rapidly now newly parents should understood this things and control their childs that much needed & gave them internet literacy.

My younger brother loved a youtuber Anshu biscuit usually for Minecraft content, but then he started same showing off the supercar and same mystery box stuff.
I think youtuber is backstabbing honest subscribers who loved a game then person and now that person is promoting gambling and mystery boxes for young audiences in exchange of love and trust they give.
Viewers are also human being maybe some viewers love youtubers more than thier own family members while youtubers don't know and care about existence.

I think youtubers should also hide the faces to whom they are donating because I have found that if someone ( gives money ) to poor then the social respect that the person possess starts decreasing gradually in the society and they can face many problems. And also I have questions to all the youtubers who does such things that why don't you open free school for poor students and give them quality education.

If I have to take any creator then I would say Fukra Insaan I'm 25+ years old and I watch his videos vlogs.. and I know how that person is.. you have shown his old videos half cut videos.. his intention were never about showing off! Nowadays whatever you do in life people will take it in wrong way only!! He is a full time youtuber.. through his videos he is trying make his audience understand about Life, Money, Education at the same entertainment is also utmost important..
