This is the second of a three-part 10 Percent True interview in which Dave discusses his time as a test pilot at the RAF's Empire Test Pilot's School - a role he fulfils to this day.
Dave was featured extensively in the BBC's excellent series, Test Pilot, from the mid-1980s. Today, he refers to his onscreen presence as "my dark-haired, mustachioed younger brother!", and you you can catch the entire series here: • Video

This is excellent. A fascinating insight into test flying and operational flying over the past few decades. Allowing the interviewee to elaborate while keeping the interview flowing is a real skill. I’m also glad you didn’t try and edit the length, a flying career of this duration deserves it!
