“Castelul Sükösd-Bethlen, atestat din 1636, este o construcție medievală aflată în Racoș, Brașov. În perioada comunismului castelul a fost administrat de C.A.P.-ul din comună, fiind folosit ca grajd și depozit de grâne și fiind parțial demolat pentru a permite accesul utilajelor.
Castelul a fost parțial restaurat în ultimul deceniu al secolului al XX-lea cu fonduri strânse de "Fundatia castelul Bethlen din Racoș de Jos", organizată de pastorul bisericii evanghelice din comună însă procesul nu a fost finalizat. Deși din exterior starea de conservare pare bună, în interior castelul rămâne inutilizabil.
În prezent, accesul în interiorul edificiului se face pe scări de lemn, pe răspunderea vizitatorului.
Clădirea este administrată de o familie din sat, iar vizitele pot fi efectuate apelând numărul de telefon afișat pe poarta castelului.”

Sükösd-Bethlen Castle, first mentioned in 1636, is a medieval building located in Racoş, Braşov.
During communism the castle was managed by CAP acquis in common, being used as stables and storage of grain and partially demolished to allow access equipment.
The castle was partially restored in the last decade of the twentieth century with funds tight "castle Bethlen Foundation of Lower Racoş" organized by evangelical pastor shared, but the process has not been finalized. Although the outside looks good state of preservation, inside the castle remains unusable.
Currently, access to the interior of the building is the wooden stairs, the visitor's responsibility.
The building is managed by a family in the village, and visits can be made by calling the telephone number listed on the castle gate.

Am fost pe la Racos dar n-am vizitat castelul. L-am mai vazut intr-un clip al unui prieten de pe TH-cam si mi-a placut si acolo ce am vazut.
Numai bine!
E frumos, mai ales exteriorul. La interior, sătui să mai aștepte renovarea de specialitate din partea guvernului, au încercat sa "rezolve" ei. Noroc ca cineva s-a sesizat și a stopat lucrările. Betonul armat a rămas însă. Nu știu cum arată acum (poate ar merita o nouă încercare) dar în film am încercat să evit zonele "renovate" :)

Fantastic video dear friend. I love the defence architecture so much. It looks like a small castle, right? It is well preserved whatsoever!
It was left in ruins by the authorities. Villagers tried to renovate it, but without specialized knowledge and have done little money raised. The interior looks very bad, so I did not shoot anything inside. Communists demolished inside and made some stables. So you can imagine ... But outside looks good, you're right :)
I am so sad to hear that. I have an idea. Try posting the link on a Facebook page ICOMOS. It is an international association of museum stuff. Some of them are very influenced. It won't harm but it can help.
