As far as I know, Wishbus’s setup (when it’s parked) enable fans to be able to see Mori from either the huge tv screens on the side of the bus or wave back to Mori. So Mori is performing to a live audience.

Listening to your comments on this video, I realize that, yes, you are correct, all of these artistic choices that Morissette makes while performing are happening on real-time basis, on the moment as they happen, because these are live, one-take sessions, with no auto-tune. So there's no room for "should I try this? should this work or not?" or "I can do better on the second cut" because there's "no take-two" unlike in a proper recording studio where they can do as many takes as they want and just patch things together to create a "perfect" rendition. That's why the Wish Bus performances are a real challenge to the artists, because aside from the conditions mentioned above, they have to do the singing while being seated. And also because of the sensitivity of the equipment used, every sound and nuance made are captured, so there's just no room for mistakes, like wrong pitch, note, lyrics, timing, etc. That environment is unforgiving for an artist, it is like a "make or break" scenario. And for Morissette to be an outstanding performer in the Wish Bus, in fact she is a Hall of Fame awardee there, that's why she is also often called the "queen of Wish Bus", as all of her performances there are of high quality, awesome, amazing, mind-blowing even, shows how incredible she is as an artist. 🥰 Thank you for your continuing love and support for Morissette 🥰 Always looking forward to watching your reactions for her.

There are a lot of very, very good singers, but their voices will get old to me after listening for while. Not so with Morissette. One of the good things about her not being a massive star in the US has been that she doesn’t play huge venues here. I’ve seen her live a number of times. I sat in the front row of one of her shows that was literally in a banquet hall, she sang this and I think it sounded better live. Another good thing is that she typically does meet and greets and being the awesome humble person that she is with the small crowds she played in front of and the even smaller number of people that attend the meet and greets she seems to be pretty good at recognizing and remembering the names of the people she meets. That might be changing though considering how popular she is becomming

I mean the environment alone is a nightmare, that glass, no sound isolation anywhere, the microphone being used, a live drum kit or a guitar plugged into an amp would make everything peak off the carts. Of course I can't really know because I haven't been in the bus and haven't taken a look at the equipment, but from what I hear, and based on what I know, my solid guess is that it is not made for recording live music.

It is a LIVE performance, and there IS an audience, right outside the bus, (if its not moving), They announce where they will be and fans come hrs ahead and wait for the Artist, there are big screens and speakers outside, and people gather and scream and yell. This was several years ago, and not sure what exactly went down as far as fans outside go, but yes, its a backing track, (on this one) But there is a live audience. As far as the "Studio" goes, you are right, Its the worst set up ever, but you are wrong about the Equip, They have all the right mixers, compressors, Reverb's (overdone on this one) and professional sound Engineers running boards. Its Mixed, edited, and dubbed for broadcast, since its playing LIVE over the Radio at the time its done, so, Don't discount the people "on board", some of her best sound comes from this BUS. I was surprised you found that one "downnownnn"to replay 5x but didnt notice the way she snaps her jaw when doing it, (or didn't mention it) as there were bigger technical nuances/choices she made in this one, actually immediately after that, the "insaneaaannnnee" she threw in there, and the squeekfest was off the charts on this one. We could go on for hours about the skill set she has and uses but that would make a 3min Video 5hrs long, and there are simply too damn many to pick apart. Hence my first statement of not doing her for such a long time, (I've been watching), you are a Swifty these days and that's fine, But when it comes to Vocal, Pure raw Vocals, Taylor is no match for Morissette. she simply isn't. No disrespect for one of the greatest song writers the world has ever known, but vocals? nah. its Mori. and you know this. We respect your "opinions" and breakdowns so don't look away, she's dropping left and right, and about to Drop another "New" set soon, (Jan 24') the word is, But besides that, man you have missed so much!
