Hey, Garry, this format is excellent. It's crisp, clear, yet profound. It felt like the essence of a two-hour podcast was packed under 30 minutes, thank you.

I remember when I can't afford the internet at home back in 2013-14 in India, I used to sit in my college lab after my classes and use to download tutorials on my personal laptop using the college LAN. Exactly a decade have passed now and It reminded me of how those lessons have shaped my career and life so far. So inspiring to hear your stories guys. Love from India.

19:00 thats how i feel about my startup/solo-venture. Im doing content creation and building the app simultaneously. I think some people look at me like Im crazy, but I feel its the right path to build a user base while also talking about things that interest me (as the product is useful for people like me). So if I can get an audience of at least a couple thousand I know I can direct them to my product when its complete.
Worse case I get to meet new people online.

I like this new interview mixed in with your narrative. Listening to the interviewee speaking in their own words is very powerful and we can really feel their pain and emotions as they narrate their experience. Thanks again Garry for sharing because for first time founders like us around the world, these life lessons are invaluable for our own journey

Would love to see a chat between yourself and Paul Graham, about how you each started out, careers, guides to investing in startups, thoughts on pitching startups to yourselves, things you have learned both positive an negative etc

make it happen in India, you guys are a capitalist democratic country and plenty of capital is flowing to India and Asia.... America has internal problems that foreigners are completely unaware of, don't need more people coming who don't understand American challenges

True but sorry to break this down. Doing things in India is great but it is not friendly and easy. We respect the patriarchy towards our country but lets take a step back and poke the harsh truths. You can completely disagree with me. If so, try building such awesome work here. If u succeed, good for you. If not, reality hits that, "you make awesome things, get zero out of it"@@thinkingcitizen

@@thinkingcitizenthe problem with India is capital. Only the grads from top elite universities like iits & iims get funded. Unlike US where a dropout can get access to capital. If you aren't from the elite school you will not even get a chance to pitch.
