There's a behind story to this song. Based on the music video, there is a sound effect that sounds like "Aow" at 3 minutes and 56 seconds. It was a sound that IU screamed at the time of recording the song because something didn't go well, but the timing was exquisite, so the composer did not delete and included it in the song.
5:58 IU wanted to release the MV for above the time on the date listed on the time machine, but unfortunately had to release it a bit early. The joke among fans became that something went wrong during the construction, and she arrived earlier than schedule which led to the two not meeting up immediately in Above the Time.

The second part is "Last Fantasy" which has the same lyricist, Kim Eana, and was released on the same album (which it gave its name to). The third part is of course "Above the Time" with lyrics by IU, which she used to reply to the Kim Eana's lyrics. Initially there was no video for "Last Fantasy", but one was subsequently released containing footage of IU's tour of Japan. IU also released a Japanese version of "You & I", with its own video, which echoes the Korean version but adds more layers to the story. All worth watching! IU in the black dress with ponytail looked like Wednesday including the setting. All the hand actions also reminded of the thing (hand) in The Addams Family. I also love Dr Who but the time I was watching he was portrayed by Tom Baker. Now with internet maybe I will start watching all the episodes

The premise (both lyrics and video) is an underage girl wants to get (redacted) so she builds a time machine to speed up time so she'll at last be 'legal'. But she overshoots and lands in far-of 2019. The song was written by Kim Eana who most recently wrote 'O (Circle)' for Onew.
