We have a Princess Steam Iron at home and its a different style to the Philips one thats shown in the video. Now i’m moving out and am looking to get this Philips iron and quite frankly i think i will be getting it now. Huge thank you for this review!
Depends on how thick / stubborn the cloth is :) I find that thinner clothes are ok after steaming just one side because the steam passes through the cloth to the other side. Thicker clothes or the ones that have lining tend to need steaming on both sides :)
Hi! Mine makes a similar sound but only when the steam first starts to come out. Once it’s a steady flow of steam, that sound should disappear. If yours is making that sound the entire time, you might want to get your machine checked. You can also listen to the demo portion to get a better idea of what my machine sounds like while in use.
Yes po, pero I guess hindi naman po sobrang init na hindi mahawakan for me. Yun nga lang, if hindi ka sanay sa pagluto or pagplantsa baka nakakapaso na yung temp na ito 😅
@@s.b725 unfortunately I haven’t used thr myessence feature before so I’m not sure if oil or liquid should be used. As for the handle becoming a bit hot, I think that’s normal. It happens on my machine too when I’ve used it for a long time. I just try to hold it lower (close to the hose) because that part is usually not as hot :)
Hi! :) I think you could probably use this while sitting down, but you need to be careful that the hose does not get bent and that the garments you will steam won’t drag on the floor. For the handle, do you mean the piece of plastic that holds the steamer head? If yes, then yes it is detachable. But please note that it cannot stand on its own. It needs to be clipped to the plastic frame of the machine.
Congrats for the review. Useful to have an idea of how the product works on different fabrics.
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you found it helpful 😊

So glad you found it helpful! 🥰
Enlightening video! However, I have a question: is it necessary to steam both sides of the clothes, front and back?

Nice! You got good and smooth voice for reviews!
Super clear and informative, thanks!
I just got mine & it has a loud croaking sound coming from the head of the steamer throughout the ironing. Is this normal? Did yours had it too?

Hello, could the standing steamer be used sitting down on a couch and is the handle detachable?
