You’ve covered for all the possible Hows, When and Where of a Mauritius trip in this vlog making it pretty comprehensive 👏🏾 And, those drone footage are as usual superbly and smoothly shot, Sid 😍
Video is really informative! Quickly you summarized every bit of it. Please make more such videos for places in India! Esp, North / North East travel locations.
Sir what is the online VISA form and What is the Airport VISA process? i am told that form needs to be filled in the flight and handover at immigration at airport. please advise
Sir i have a question regarding getting visa becz its visa on arrival so as i am planning to plan my trip by my self so i am not getting enough info regarding immigration n getting visa...so plz can u elaborate it a lil bit more
Here’s what I did: 1. Withdrew some local currency for small purchase and tips 2. Used credit card for all other payments (you can use debit card also for this)
Great information. I am planning to visit Mauritius in April. Are 2 wheelers available on rent to explore the city? Also, do we need to change cities or staying port louis is best for island hopping?
Sure Manjunath. The currency of choice there is Mauritian Rupee. I didn’t use currency exchange - simply withdrew cash from ATM with my debit card. Otherwise, I mostly used credit card for coffee, meals etc…
This is how a travel video should be. Compact but still you coverd all the details. I am also planning trip to Mauritius next week. Can you plz give some info regarding RTPCR test. Is it mandatory to carry negative RTPCR report at arrival on both Mumbai & Mauritius airport. & also for unvaccinated kid, does he also need to carry RTPCR test? Plz guide...
If fully vaccinated, you don’t need a PCR test for either Mauritius or Mumbai, but you’ll need to take an rapid antigen test after reaching Mauritius. If under 18, vaccination isn’t required. Here’s a page with more details - mauritiusnow.com/faqs/
Video is really very informative especially for those who are planning to explore Mauritius just now.. Sir would you you please reply regarding covid test during return back to India from mauritius is mandatory or not..
Thank you so much sir.. Actually i was searching online but there was a lot of confusion Regarding covid test on return back to India.. Again thanks a lot sir...
The current is Mauritian Rupee. You can use your debit card to withdraw money from ATMs or use credit cards for direct payment (I did both and didn’t face any problem). You’ll need cash only at a few places like local markets.
Actually we are going to explore Mauritius in coming week.. Sir plz suggest regarding currency exchange and does my 9 yrs old unvaccinated child has to go for rtpcr test or not before fly to Mauritius..
As for currency exchange, I used my ATM card to withdraw money there, or used my credit card for expenses. I don’t think an RTPCR test is needed to go there, but u would suggest that you do it so that you are all 100% sure. You’ll have to go into quarantine if you test positive there so it’s just a good idea to do the test in India - whether or not it’s required.
Short and crisp! Loved it 😍
Thank you so much!

You didn't cover the currency accepted there and how to exchange. Please update that with your reply
Sure Manjunath. The currency of choice there is Mauritian Rupee. I didn’t use currency exchange - simply withdrew cash from ATM with my debit card. Otherwise, I mostly used credit card for coffee, meals etc…
Are there any additional charges other than the usual exchange rate while withdrawing from ATM? @@SiddharthaJoshiFilms
