My mother is 77 and makes simple food now in senior years, uses instapot. Well I noticed a day before she officially got a yr older, 78 on 6th April...she dethawed and cut up a whole frozen chicken and baked it beautifully. Birthday blessings are real in those golden years. Happy your Grammy is up & with spring moving on, will keep potting up plants ...cooking fun food. Nice your family rears meat chickens...even if get out to hunt for fresh greens in your greenhouse...feel adds alot of life to the day.
Last year if I would have bought my tomato plants, it would have cost me $500. I started my own for under $40. Harvested 22 bushels. Your operation is awesome to watch. Thanks for taking us along.
I just love this time of year on the farm! Thank you for posting these videos. I cannot wait until the twins are old enough to tell us their names like that lovely Callie does!
The new girls seem to be getting used to you because they're starting to talk when you go in their pen. The hen noise is one of my favorite things about the farm. Sounds like they're laughing.
Your Mom is stepping up as a great baker! Lauren looks great! And Grammie is looking healthy and healing! Wow....9000 cabbages...amazing. In the 40s tonight in GA. Take care All
It would be wonderful if Grammy did a cookbook! A section of family favorite meals, a canning section for her jams, jellies, salsas and beets and of course a baking section. And a section of favorites that the wives have brought to the family! If nothing else, to have it to pass along to all her grand daughter inlaw to carry on family traditions. And I'd love to have a copy of it! I know it's a lot of work but there are programs out there to help format everything. Please consider this grammy!
Always love to see Grammy up and about! Lauren is looking good too for someone with two newborns. Can't imagine me ever being coordinated enough to do two babies at once. Planting season is my favorite! Can't wait to see you guys in the planting machine. I love watching the starts go into the ground almost as much as watching them being picked when they're at full maturity. Peach custard pie? Egg custard is my favorite pie. Peach custard sounds just YUM!!! That's it, I'm moving to Pennsylvania. 😂
So happy for your wonderful Grammy that her knee is healing up just fine and she is walking. Great news. Prayers for continued healing and mobility/range of motion. Glad you have pretty easy compliant chickens and did not have to do much chasing to get the flock members back into the door of the pen. Glad the hole got blocked!
So heartwarming to see Grammy and Lauren today. The sheer number of plants you see is mind boggling. Makes my 4 raised beds look kinda dinky. Love love love your channel. ❤
Seriously I have trouble keeping one plant alive lol..I can't even imagine keeping thousand upon thousands of plants thriving..you guys are top notch in my book😊
👋 Michigan HERE! OKRA is the issue!! Do you grow it and how? It gets damping off disease in seedlings. Tried everything. ANY SUGGESTIONS??? Love the show. I never miss an episode.
Hi Andrew it's so exciting to see you seeding for future crops, harvesting time is my favorite, your Grammy is an inspiration to us older folk I love to see her in action, Lauren looks great Blessings to you all❤
Great vid folks. Very informative. That will get you a lot more subs than asking for them. You guys are better than than. Great to see grammy up and about.
So excited to see it's time to plant. Pie's look delicious. Callie gets bigger by the day. I have my eyes on the cone basket planters cannot wait to come get a couple.
So happy to see Granny on the mend... Always good to see the entire family doing well. That is a good seeding day today. I can't believe all the baking your mother was doing today , just fantastic.Wish we had a family type bakery around here. We are expecting about 15 to 20 cm of snow this evening , I want to cry..lol after all it is Spring !!! I am in Montreal.
It was great to see Lauren & Grammy. I pray for both of you ladies daily. Great video Andrew. Someday I'd love to take a trip to your Farm Market to buy some of Grammy (or April's) cookies or a pie & a cone flower basket. But you're 17 hrs away so ... lol
I love this time of the year watching you all getting ready to plant. Weather getting warmer. Hope Grammy continues to do well. Love your. channel. Keep doing what you’re doing. We love it’s a Stable Life also . I look every day for updates. Thanks everyone.
I love to see that feed pour out. I used to have to carry around 50lb bags of layer pellets. When I got 61 I had to stop that. I have had reverse shoulder surgery now and at 79, it should last me for the duration. Has about a 10 year warranty 😂when I started watching you had 160 subscribers. You are doing good❤
You reminded me how great the cabbage was last year 😮. It was awesome 👏 By the way Andrew, why no accent? 😊 Time for 196 thousand subscriptions. We need one thousand a week!
Been watching your older video’s from 3 years back. One question: Andrew: year 1- no face hair, year 2- moustache, year 3: full beard, now year four what? Lol
Sweet Grammy was in the video 4 days ago, called Getting Rid of Years of Scrap," or something like that. Lol (Scrap is in the title). Lol She's all smiles! Looked really good! It's about the 7 minute mark, only for a minute. Its a funny little recording.
Grammy has lost weight and is looking fantastic! 😄 Andrew, what's the plans for last years tomato/pepper field? Cover crop? Hey Matt,, I already have babies on my Caribe tomatoes. As a matter of fact, ALL of my plants are blooming and are getting loaded with babies. We had been under the LaNina for the last 3 years, so it really is hard on the garden. I'm not used to seeing blooms and babies at this time of the year. 😁 Thanking the Lord! 😊
Grammy, you inspire me. I've been putting off getting my knee replaced thinking I'd be down for 6 months! You seem to be recovering quite well in a short period of time! Any secrets to a fast recovery?
There is something magical about putting a seed in the dirt and getting a beautiful plant. I'm by Tampa and I started some seeds last November for this year and I have been seeding plants until a few weeks ago. I had enough annuals to plant in my garden, enough for my mom's rental house and still enough for Mom's house! It's going to be a beautiful season. Plenty of veggies now and over the summer when it's time for round two!
A video of raising meat chickens step by steps would be cool and very helpful information for thousands of people, I personally enjoy watching videos like raising meat chicks everyone does it differently and it’s just amazing and I’m sure a lot of people can agree 😁🐣
You all make planting look so easy. I know that the planting medium you use isn't available to just anyone. Is there anything out there you can recommend that should produce good germination? Thanks in advance.
Easter is a Huge Holiday around the World and we always Enjoy getting together with Family to Celebrate. Great Food is a must and Desserts are a given. 😬👍🙏
Looking good Grammy. Andrew you're right about different crops and the location. We plant our cabbage in the fall, because it gets too hot here in Florida for cabbage in the spring. Lauren is looking good. Nothing prettier than a new mommy.
Did you or dad say each row is approx. 1/2 mile? To put in perspective how many plants go into the farm's planting. Of course it depends on weather... Enjoy the videos. Great to see Grammy up and about! Just had my second one done last year. Stayed w/my son & wife for 3 weeks. Flew through home health, then onto regular physical therapy. Blessings to the whole family!
Would love to have grammys recipes or a cook and canny book. Miss having my own chickens. And starting plants by seed. Grammy looks good nice to see her.
Those were way cool camera angles when you were putting the seeds in the trays!! Thankyou!!

Fantastic day at the farm, love seeing all the new plants and seeding! It’s like getting ready for Christmas ❤❤❤❤. The greenhouses look amazing.
I wish there were thousands more family farms like yours. every county needs one.
I couldn’t agree more with you on that.😁
Last year if I would have bought my tomato plants, it would have cost me $500. I started my own for under $40. Harvested 22 bushels. Your operation is awesome to watch. Thanks for taking us along.
Saving money look at you!
Thanks for the Grammy update👍 Glad you are doing well, Grammy!
I’m very grateful that you have shared the varieties with us. It’s helped me produce better food for my family and kickstart into the farmers market.
So good to see Grammy today! And Lauren as well!!
You should totally do a time lapse video, just overnight, consdering how much the peppers grew overnight, that would be fascinating!
Good luck with your garden. May your family be blessed.
Always love seeing your grammy! She is the backbone of your family...5000 cabbage plants! Lauren looks fantastic!! good to see everyone

Grammy!! Wonderful to see her back on her feet!❤
Andrew, you ever considered doing an extra long time lapse of seedlings growing? Speed it up for a few mins of neat content?
Love watching all the planting😊😊😊😊😊
Getting ever closer to transplanting time!! 😊
I love this time of the year watching you all getting ready to plant. Weather getting warmer. Hope Grammy continues to do well. Love your. channel. Keep doing what you’re doing. We love it’s a Stable Life also . I look every day for updates. Thanks everyone.
Greetings fro Cape Town, I love all of the produce except for kale. I would give the kale to the cows.
Okay, I “mathed” it out: 90 X 98 is 8,820 cole crops that will soon germinate and be planted in the field. 👍👏
Nice

You go Grammy! 😊
what are the advantages of planting different days to maturity varieties rather than stagger / succession planting one variety?
Would you explain how you store all your seeds and do you save leftover seeds for next year? thanks.
Cookbook sounds like a great thing!
Wow, it seems not long ago you were harvesting and now doing it all again.
Glad to see Gma is doing well!

Thanks for taking the time to show the seed machine. It is such a great timesaver. Love your enthusiasm for what you do.
Cabbage varieties we are using here in the UK: Durham Early, Golden Acre, Ormskirk -- we are at 750 ft elevation.
Grammy looks FABULOUS 🌻

You sure have it dialed in! Nice!
Oh I love a good coconut pie!
It's so nice to see Grammy up and 😢walking around. But please Grammy take it easy.

Looking good Grammy. Andrew you're right about different crops and the location. We plant our cabbage in the fall, because it gets too hot here in Florida for cabbage in the spring. Lauren is looking good. Nothing prettier than a new mommy.
Good day to all.
Love the video today. So educational. ❤❤❤
😊
Glod to see you getting your Cole crops seeded. Lauren looks amazing!
Latitude also has a big effect on what will grow where.

Didn't the chickens get into the greenhouse and eat a bunch of cole crop seedlings last year? Hopefully nothing like that this year :)
Kohl crops are my favourites
😊❤
Would love to have grammys recipes or a cook and canny book. Miss having my own chickens. And starting plants by seed. Grammy looks good nice to see her.
You are playing GREENHOUSE TETRIS.😂😂😂😂😂
Seeding, you gotta love it 🤙👍👍
What fertilizer do you Blend in with the Water? Do you use a Siphon System with 10/5/5?
Great video 👍👍
