As a birdkeeper, I know people who have been hospitalised due to HP. Your video is very informative about what is going on. Chances are, I'll develop it at some point in my career so good to know everything about it.
I’ve kept pigeons for over 30 years and finally this year in March i was hospitalized and diagnosed with HP. Quit while you’re ahead because your health is more important than keeping happy birds. The gasping for air is quite painful from my experience.
My mum was diagnosed with HP. We rehomed the bird one year ago but her condition hasn't improved. Any tips on what we can do to help her improve her condition?
Got it from inhaling aerosolized polyurethane paint that contained hexamethylene diisocyanate and toluene diisocyanate. I also have bibasilar actelectasis, which I’m not sure if it could have been also caused by the paint inhalation. The paint also had cobalt, zinc chromium, molydbate orange, and a whole bunch of other goodies. It happened in 1982, so I didn’t use a respirator. 😬
Armando, pls fix the websites. This is the 3rd time I'm requesting. Pls buddy..... I really needed some of those PDFs for this sem. But now only few days left.
had it years ago either from wax used at work or me vacuuming up old leaves, 10 days in the hospital! yikes not fun at all. i had an icu interventionist stumped he wanted to do a bronch yet said "i'm afraid you wont come off the vent" i said no thanks, it was a new doctor to the group from Russia who said what i had. like, before him a seasoned doctor didnt even know? scary.

So these diseases only develop after long exposure to a certain allergen, not just inhaling something once?
