Someone's wife is typing Invisalign are braces so they do make your teeth sore for a day or two. When I got my first set I was in pain for awhile but the longer you have Invisalign the less your mouth will hurt. It’s more of a constant pressure then pain :)
I hope mine work. 12-14 months at this point seems like an eternity. I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel yet, and maintenance is very high. Unless you have a lot of patience, these are not for everyone.
Listen I had the wire braces when I was 16. When your teeth are moving.....they hurt, they itch, you want to rip the teeth out of your head thinking it will feel so much better if you do. To me Invisalign sucks because if your child is weak minded or not responsible or lacks the discipline of absorbing a dull aching pain. They will start by not wearing the plastic retainer more and more and more. And you'll be out $1000's of dollars. The wired one's have a clear option, but they are forced meaning it's a good thing you can't remove them. Buy a waterpick. Life is easy with that. Money well spent. To me Invisalign is only good for after the wire braces and the retainer can help to keep your teeth where they are casually. But again I opted for the interior wire permanent braces that nobody can see as my retainer. And don't let any Dentist or Orthodontist tell you "Oh you don't want that or you want this" Their job should merely be to inform you of the pro's and con's, the pricing and then you decide! Any Orthodontist that tries to steer you towards one or the other is benefiting financially in some way!
I’ve had mine for two weeks so far. The pain is bad but when you take pain meds, you won’t feel it at all. The worst thing though, is that I have to brush my teeth around 5 times a day, and brushing my teeth so much makes it painful to keep doing so. My gums cut madly and bleed, and since I already have loose teeth from my Invisalign, my teeth hurt from brushing as well,so I go about 2 days without brushing so my mouth can heal.. And then I go back to brushing a lot then take a break again and so on.. So most of the time I have to rely on mouthwash which is also painful because of my cuts. Then I’m stuck with just water.. which is the only other option.. this is the only problem I have though, so it’s not all that bad tbh.
I have to file the edge of mine or it destroys my tough. You should try rinsing with salt water when you can’t use mouthwash. It will help your mouth heal. Hopefully it will get better for you. I’m on week 5 and first of weeks were really tough!
@@monicabatt9430Why is that person brushing their teeth so much? I’m considering getting this but I have chronic illness so I don’t have much energy and brushing teeth that much sounds awful
Invisalign’s are probably not for kids. A lot of work putting in taking out no snacking! You cannot eat or snack or drink anything but water with them. Each time I take them out and put them back in you need to brush your teeth! They do not hurt on my teeth I don’t feel any kind of pain! The only thing that bothers is the epoxy they put on your teeth in certain places your teeth need to move more to hold the liners there in place. The epoxy is little sharp bumps that scrap on your gums when u have the aligners out to eat it makes sores in your mouth!
Hello Kiki A, your dentist will be able to answer this question for you. If you need to get your wisdom teeth removed, this is easier with Invisalign than with metal braces, as your Invisalign can be removed. Speak with your dentist about any changes that might need to be made with your retainers when the wisdom teeth come out. Best of luck.
Do Invisalign push the teeth to normal places without using a set of them? I mean can a single Invisalign do it? I just had my Invisalign after wearing braces and my previous Invisalign broke so I bought a new one. But in between the time period where my previous one broke and I got my new one, I felt like my upper teeth bulged out a bit. And now I only have one Invisalign. So will this Invisalign help get my teeth back to normal?
But if you have like an over bit right and you dont wanna get braces because when u go to tightened the braces it does hurt so can u used the Invisalign to straighten your teeth then get braces after
@@Kaylahdehdan you don't even need to do that! Most times, you can probably get Invisalign alone without the need for braces even in severe cases. It just really depends on each dentist and how many cases they've done!

Hello Ouafae, unfortunately, this is generally the case because of the technology behind Invisalign and it requires regular visits to change the aligners. Prices will vary depending on each clinic.
You have to be checked over by a dentist to see if you’re suitable for the treatment. All cases are different. Some teeth are too irregular for the aligners like a friend of mine but then I qualified for it and I thought my teeth were worse! Always best to get it checked. So worth the money
Jamie 〜 these are a alternative method to traditional metal braces. They have the same end result if used correctly as instructed by your orthodontist :)
I would think it depends on how severe your overbite is. I was told with my overbite that invisalign would take longer and never truly fix the issue, so i got braces.
yes, they do! nowadays, since Invisalign has started utilizing SmartForce Attachments on people's teeth, it's gotten to be extremely useful. they act in a similar fashion as brackets do with braces (they are an anchor for teeth to be moved in certain directions)
@@ARandomDaydreamer There's so many factors at play here, but truth be told it really depends on how comfortable each dentist/orthodontist is with Invisalign. At our office, we have some dentists that have straightened thousands of teeth over the last 16 years. Recently over the last 2-3 years, 95% of the orthodontic cases at our office have been done with Invisalign. There are very few cases in which we use only Braces. Sometimes we do a combination of both, but we've gradually switched our entire practice to Invisalign. it's honestly a fantastic tool.

Find different solutions and cheaper ones. Direct Smile Club has Invisalign alike aligners and the cost around $1700 total. Research and see what work you need done for your teeth and choose wisely.
For those who want to get ivisalign it's not worth it...the results aren't as satisfying as metal braces are. I've been on it for two years and they haven't straightened my teeth to where I want them to be. I still ended up having spaces in my mouth and gum recession because of the amount of time you have to floss and brush your teeth after meals. I gave up with it, because it is too time consuming and stressful. The only reason why Invisalign is appealing is because they're clear but it is not as efficient as metal braces.
Hi Vanessa, Thank you for sharing your experience of this form of teeth straightening. It's always helpful to hear from patients when considering such treatments yourself. Best wishes, Top Doctors
I’ve had Invisalign for a little less than a year now and I’m very happy with the results! It’s not for everybody but nor are traditional metal braces. It’s best that each individual figures out what works for their life and discuss their options with their orthodontist.
I’m from the UK and had to find a private dentist to pay £4,000 for my Invisalign. I had to be checked out first. They do a full health check and they X-ray your teeth to create the mounds and to simulate how it’ll move all your teeth over the course of Invisalign. For me personally I get 20 sets of aligners and they reckon it’ll be a year in total until they’re fully straight which is remarkable if you think about it. Track braces take so much longer and there’s much more pain that comes along with it. The only issues I’ve had with Invisalign is I have a habit of flicking my tongue on the edge of the aligners so I keep cutting my tongue but that’s my own fault. They’re quite tight when you first put them in. Especially new ones. But honestly it goes away after 10 minutes. I would highly recommend these. They’ve been more than perfect for me and they’re quick working too.
@@Thetraeveonjenkins3157 Most orthodontists and dentists are able to provide Invisalign. What I would highly suggest doing is going to Google and typing in Invisalign near me. So wouldn't it be more expensive than traditional braces in the long run because you have to replace the Invisalign every week or two and they cost like $500 a pop ?
Quick question, I got my invisalign today but they weren't too clear about how to maintain them. So when I've eaten do I have to brush my teeth every single time afterwards and with toothpaste? Or do I just wash the mouth a bit with water, put the invisalign back in, and then brush my teeth before I go bed?
@@nevm5776 hi wasn't expecting a reply on such an old comment xD yes it most definitely worked, I'm still using invisalign since my teeth were so messed up they had to widen the jaw before they could align the teeth properly. Tinoman Tech you put the trays in yourself and have to switch them every 1-2 weeks. Invisalign takes a mold or computer scan of your teeth so you can’t just buy trays. Some companies like “smiledirectclub” send your a clay/puty which you use to make a mold, then you send the mold to the company and they send you your trays.

If you’d like to speak to Mr Mark Hughes, you can do so by booking a consultation via his profile: bit.ly/2te6CTZ. We hope you find the answer to your question. Kind regards, the Top Doctors team.
Yes I can tell from experience
Why is it so expensive than braces then?
Hello Ouafae, unfortunately, this is generally the case because of the technology behind Invisalign and it requires regular visits to change the aligners. Prices will vary depending on each clinic.
Can this invisalign be used in any type of crooked teeth ?
You have to be checked over by a dentist to see if you’re suitable for the treatment. All cases are different. Some teeth are too irregular for the aligners like a friend of mine but then I qualified for it and I thought my teeth were worse! Always best to get it checked. So worth the money
Yes! Most cases can be treated with Invisalign. The technology has gotten a lot better over the last few years!
Does it work?
Yes I had them
I just got Invisalign a week ago,
I saw an add that promoted those but they say it cost $80 a month. I think that is too pricey.
i'm assuming these aren't a replacement for braces?
Hi Jamie! You can speak with Dr Hughes directly by booking a consultation via his profile: bit.ly/2IhteY7
Jamie 〜 these are a alternative method to traditional metal braces. They have the same end result if used correctly as instructed by your orthodontist :)
Do they help with overbite
Does your dentist choose if you get Invisalign or braces or do you choose your preference.
Hello Mehrnoosh, you can make the decision, but your dentist will advise you about which type are best for you and your situation.
Worked great for me
I HAVE TAKEN OUT MY INVISALIGN AND THIS IS THE ALBUM
Lol, I am here because of Drew Lynch. Didn't know what Invisilign was, now I get the joke 😂
when you get the four sets do you wear new ones each week?
you actually get multiple sets. usually, the sets last you 3 months. each aligner set typically stays on your teeth for 7-12 days. hopefully, that helps answer your question :) subscribe to our channel and ask us any additional questions you have about Invisalign. we'd be happy to help!
I need braces but my insurance doesn’t cover it. I don’t know how to pay for it
Find different solutions and cheaper ones. Direct Smile Club has Invisalign alike aligners and the cost around $1700 total. Research and see what work you need done for your teeth and choose wisely.
Did he say you have to get new ones every day ????
Week to two weeks
I just got them today!
How are they so far? Bs or the real deal?
This good for my brother
For those who want to get ivisalign it's not worth it...the results aren't as satisfying as metal braces are. I've been on it for two years and they haven't straightened my teeth to where I want them to be. I still ended up having spaces in my mouth and gum recession because of the amount of time you have to floss and brush your teeth after meals. I gave up with it, because it is too time consuming and stressful. The only reason why Invisalign is appealing is because they're clear but it is not as efficient as metal braces.
Hi Vanessa,
Thank you for sharing your experience of this form of teeth straightening. It's always helpful to hear from patients when considering such treatments yourself.
Best wishes,
Top Doctors
I’ve had Invisalign for a little less than a year now and I’m very happy with the results! It’s not for everybody but nor are traditional metal braces. It’s best that each individual figures out what works for their life and discuss their options with their orthodontist.
here bc my teef crooked asf
Do i need to order one that fits well for me or it can use for anyone ?
In other word is it "UNIVERSAL" ??
You have to have them custom made so they fit your individual teeth
@@katiemccavit722 thank you
Where can I find this? Do I just go to my dentist and ask for this?
This will give you a few search results. We also recommend booking multiple FREE consultations, if someone asks you to pay for a consultation try to find someone else (4-5 different clinics if possible) with different dentists in order to get a proper unbiased opinion on your smile. I also recommend looking online at the Invisalign site to find out which has completed the most cases. Invisalign has a ranking system based upon the number of cases completed in the previous month ranging from bronze to diamond plus. try finding someone who's completed diamond plus cases if at all possible. The other option you have would be to come and visit us in Calgary, Canada! We have the mountains and stampede haha. Hopefully, this helps! Subscribe to our channel if you'd like to learn more about Invisalign. We'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have!
this vid got all views through Billie
I need these because i cant do the brackets because of my heart ❤️ issue so this be perfect for me
How much it cost
「Dani Chan」braces aren’t $500
Mines cost about $4,000, estimated treatment time was 18 months but I may be finish in 1 year if I don’t need revisions. I recommend calling different orthodontist offices in your area and going to multiple consultations at different orthodontist in your area to get the best for your situation
Oh god so I have to bring a tooth brush everywhere and brush my teeth at lunch time?
yes but if you’re at school preferably you would brush your teeth but I don’t because it’s too much hassle, instead I bring floss and mouthwash
so god damn expensive
There is a payment plan. $400 down. $141 per month
Great video 😁
But what if your teeth are like really crooked...
Invisalign can still help! The technology has gotten so good over the last few years that we've started treating more than 90% of all of our cases at our offices with Invisalign instead of Braces! the technology has really advanced over the years.
So wouldn't it be more expensive than traditional braces in the long run because you have to replace the Invisalign every week or two and they cost like $500 a pop ?
Mine was 8.5k
It’s a matter of how messed up your teeth are
If u need a small movement then it’s much Cheaper obv
It is NOT cheaper than braces! You can have almost perfect teeth and it’ll still cost way more.
Yeah yeah im here cuz Billie💙u dont have to ask
What if your teeth aren’t in the same position as the plastics?
It makes them... same as braces
it scans ur teeth personalized
Its plastic but its really hard kind of material trust me
Quick question, I got my invisalign today but they weren't too clear about how to maintain them. So when I've eaten do I have to brush my teeth every single time afterwards and with toothpaste? Or do I just wash the mouth a bit with water, put the invisalign back in, and then brush my teeth before I go bed?
Im on my 2nd set. I was told that I should brush my teeth and floss afterward whenever I eat something.
@@BK-qk9ov thanks for the info!
How was it? Did it even worked
@@nevm5776 hi wasn't expecting a reply on such an old comment xD yes it most definitely worked, I'm still using invisalign since my teeth were so messed up they had to widen the jaw before they could align the teeth properly. But omg I kid you not the difference between my teeth now and my teeth before is insane. Definitely worth it since it's less painful and gets the same job done!
Do you recommend them? Rather than metal braces? Any cons? Or bad situations happened with the invisalign?
Can i just buy one and put it myself ?
Tinoman Tech you put the trays in yourself and have to switch them every 1-2 weeks.
Invisalign takes a mold or computer scan of your teeth so you can’t just buy trays.
Some companies like “smiledirectclub” send your a clay/puty which you use to make a mold, then you send the mold to the company and they send you your trays.
My mom works for align and I love these, so much better than braces
My dentist gave me this after Ii got my braces off
Is it available in India ?
Hello The Marvel Page and thank you for your question. I believe it is available in some parts. You can visit the Invisalign webpage in India: www.invisalign.in/ and ask your dentist about where you can go to avail of Invisalign. Hope this helps.
How much $?
Hello Estera K, the price of Invisalign can vary between clinics. If you'd like to contact Dr Hughes, you can call his clinic via the TopDoctors website: www.topdoctors.co.uk/doctor/mark-hughes
I’m getting it 5600 dollars if u have insurance it depends mine drop to 1500
Estera K mine was 5,800 but dropped to $500 cuz of my insurance 😂 I live in Canada
I am wearing avisalign and I feel like a teething baby
Owwie
I NEED THIS BUT IM SO BROKE I NEEDA JOB ALREADY
I rather go through braces than have another round of retainers I HATE my retainers
so invisline or what not is better than braces...
I'm just here because of Billie
I’m getting braces In Easter
Hi Paulina, we hope it goes well! All the best, the TD team.
Top Doctors UK thank you
Here because of billie elish
So why the hell are people still wearing braces
Honestly I rather braces Also because I already have them on.
Braces sound easier
Hi I have 2 questions, if you do see this comment, can I drink water without removing my Invisalign? 2 question , can I swim with my Invisalign?
Yes and yes
@@Anna-zw2cz thank you 😊
i have to get invisalign ahah fun
As someone with braces, invisalign is for people too weak for braces.
And no I'm not salty at all.
When your teeth are so fucked up you have to get braces and not Invisalign
I want to have a invisalign but I dont have a money and it is so expensive.....I really wish to have a straight/align my teeth because if u have a beautiful teeth you have lot of confident and nice smile....I really lack of confidence because of my teeth....I hoppe someday I can have those bright smileeee🙃🙃😊
Invisalign isn’t for braces it’s for retainer
Amberr. Silvaa it is an alternative for braces
Invisalign is an aligner, it’s aligns/straighten your teeth. A retainers just retains the shape of your teeth, it doesn’t move, shift, align, or straighten your teeth.
I am the bad guy!
Billie Eilish bad guy brought me here 😂
So your just paying to have braces without pain? And not looking ugly??? Thanks alot society
TimmyCoolBoy 123 having Invisalign does hurt the same as traditional braces :( There are many reasons people get Invisalign besides them being clear. I liked being able to take them out to eat and play my musical instruments :)
