Aquí en México se coce siempre con algunas hojas para que no pierda sabor ,en algunas rancherías del estado de México se usa una planta que se llama pericon y sabe más rico. Depende del tipo de maíz, porque los hay muy deliciosos que no necesitan la planta.
En otros lugares se los cocina sin sal porque de por si sus granos son muy dulces y tiernos. Además tenemos varios colores de maíz, el blanco que es muy tierno y se usa generalmente para las comidas diarias, el amarillo que son un poco mas duro para hacer harina, el morado para molerlo y hacer desayuno o para las tardes y otros maíces con distintos nombres y colores muy nutritivos para una alimentación muy sana. Soy muy felíz de tener tanta variedad de maíces en mi país. 😊

Add salts is enough to do the cleaning(soak 30 minutes).After that you may steam it for 25 minutes. Remove leave, topping salts and butter on the surface. Delicious 😋!
