I believe that Junho is still alive, his brother shot him in the shoulder and there is no vital organs near that spot, except if he hit the arteries, then he would probably bleed to death. If the bullet is still inside him, it would slow down the bleeding. He also fell into the water, which raises his chance of survival unless he drowned
It also depends on how hard he hit the water

Also we didn’t see him dying and all of his research would of been useless. I really think he’s not dead and we’re gonna see him in season 2
@@LaGourmandiseDeLulu I am thinking Junho is still alive too; and the way it went down was the only way The Frontman could give his brother a chance to survive. If The Frontman actually wanted his brother to die, he would have allowed the guards to to shoot him when he was cornered ; after he is shot by Junho; one of the guards goes to shoot Junho and The Frontman orders the guard and the other guards to stand down and not open fire. Also in the current situation The Frontman is the one calling the shots he is the Commanding Officer. If they were to capture Junho and bring him back inside alive, there is a good chance (99%) The Host who is The Frontman's superior orders Junho to be killed. Also The Frontman tells Junho, " You won't get reception up here" The Frontman doesn't take the phone, nor does he order his guards to take the phone. Shooting Junho in the shoulder and having him fall into the water, only wounds and doesn't kill him and it potentially places him in a location on the island where cell reception is better. The Frontman is also pretty thorough, in earlier episodes when the organ ring was happening he made sure lose ends where tied up (Doctor contestant and Guards involved killed) In the honeycomb game when the guard unmasked he shot and killed him. And when there was the live body in the casket after the 1st game he made sure it was burnt anyway. Why do I bring this up? Because someone who is as thorough as The Frontman never ordered a team of guards to go recover Junho's body or go confirm he is actually dead. He didn't do this because he wanted his brother to live and it was the only way to potentially spare his life.
insane fact that blew my mind when i first watched the show: this is the woman playing saebyeok, hoyeon jungs, DEBUT in acting which shocked me because she played her role fantastically :')

The brilliance of what happened to Sae-Byeok is that it takes something that was invariably going to absolutely 100% piss off everyone in the audience and it makes you 1) accept it because she was already mortally wounded, and 2) direct your hatred, not at *the show* for taking her out in some random game, but instead you focus it all on Sang-woo. It's a very deft bit of writing they did there to navigate the trickiest death in the whole series, since they had made her probably the most likeable character in the whole show.

Would disagree that Ali si more likeable, but she had a bigger role in the show I guess
not really they made it kind of clear that the squid game was going to be number 6 and it makes sense cause they have 3 people but the show needs an even number one had to die and so using the glass was genuis and then giving each person a knife to kill the others made it faster than having to wait hours. instead.

@@ChristopherB123 No I think abdi abdi is right, cuz the squid game from the first ep. when all the kids was playing it they all have even numbers, it's like a team game but having only 3 would be hard to divide them to play the game maybe that's why the gave those knife that and to also carry it to the next round

Someone screenshot the scene where the officer finds out his brother's paper in the player list file. The brother was police too..!!! He was an ELITE police officer. That's why he knew so well about the gun. Like how many bullets they carry

FUUUUUCCKKK. I was binging your reactions and didn't realize episode 9 wasn't up yet. Also, you don't hate it. You love it. The fact that you hate it is the reason you adore it. It's that kind of show. It's the same reason the ending to The Mist is so perfect. There's a sick sort of pleasure in feeling miserable. If the show wasn't good, it wouldn't succeed in making us feel miserable.

Your reaction of both sadness and anger represented pretty much how everyone felt at that time of her death. Episode 6 was overall the toughest to watch, but the way this scene was filmed, for a character that evolved such wonderfully in the end, hit me hard!

The police officer is actually alive. Because getting shot on the shoulder has a chance of not dying.
Plus when he fell to the water we didn't see any body.
I think I can say after U watch this ep jun ho only got shot in the shoulder and jumped in to escape. sea-beayok(IDK how to spell her name lol)told gi-hun to not go there if he did he should be dead by now cuz sang-wu killed her so sang wu faked sleeping if gi hun went there to attack sang-wu gi-hun has a higher chance to die due to sang-wu's goo reaction time and gi-huns lack of of using his thinking in situtations like that(he always wants revenge like the one with the guy that slaps him if he won gi-hun won after and tried to slap him without even thinking about the money)

Sae byeok had to die. Sang woo actually did her a favor here. The pink soldiers wont help her, and she's about to lose a lot of blood, and suffer for longer, so Sang woo had to do something about her. Also, I think Sang woo knew there's a possibility the Sae byeok and Gi-hun would team up in the game or stop the final game since both of them would make the majority so he thought of ending her. Sang woo is so smart and the things he did are probably the most realistic out of everyone in the show. Sang woo is the best-written character in the show.
How the heck can you remember their names? I just see em as main character, smart rich-looking friend, police guy, and death girl

Saebyeok was honestly the best player for me, she was smart, brave, perceptive, didn't trust anyone but also wasn't naive or self centered. She always played fair and was very humane. If the fkin show didn't cheat her like that by injuring her beforehand, she could've won.

The cool thing about casting is that two "cameo' appearances are from two leading men in Korea who starred in classic horror films: Gong Yoo (the suited guy that recruited people) starred in "Train to Busan", and Lee Byung-hun (the front man) starred in "I Saw the Devil".

honestly the reveal of the frontman as Lee Byung-hun was more shocking to me than anything that happened in this episode. that's why when Jun-ho was looking at the profile of his brother in the 2015 records they blurred out his picture. if there was a picture of Lee Byung-hun anyone who recognized the actor would immediately guess that his brother was the frontman because an A-list actor like him would only have an important role. good call on the thumbnail 👍

The fact that the front man shot Jun-Ho in the shoulder was a remnant of feelings for his brother. Then for him to fall into the ocean and the front man to not have ordered his minions to collect the body sets up one factor for a season two.

I think you should probably change the thumbnail. While the Frontman's face holds no real actual meaning, showing it like this kinda deflates the whole "reveal." So while not a "spoiler" it still kinda spoils the show?

I had thought about that, so to see what I should do I held a poll on who should be on the thumbnail for this video, and a large amount said the Front Man over people like Sae-Byeok, Sang-Woo, Gi-Hun and Jun-Ho, so I decided on this one. If enough people aren't a fan of it though I will definitely change it!

I think the cop is alive. I'm hoping his chief was able to track his location since he gave his general location. Coast guard will rescue him and I'm willing to bet the evidence he sent from his phone got delivered before he hit the water. If he is in season 2 there will be some shit going down between him and his brother.

The front man actor "Lee byung hun" was actually mentioned in this show, episode 6. JiYoung said about 'Mojito and Maldives'(Lee byung hun's famous line in a movie), and mentioned "Lee byung hun" when she and Sabyeok was talking about what they wanna do if they survive the squid game. Maybe the director was trying to confuse the viewers, by bulrring the boundaries between the show and reality.
When he asked "Who are you" and Frontman took off his mask, my answer was "Eugene Choi"! -- Earlier in 2021 I watched "Mr. Sunshine" an absolutely AWESOME series, although it is about as far different from this series as you could make - A period drama about a boy who fled Korea in the 1880s and returns as an American Marine in the early part of the last century, just as the Kingdom of Joseon (Korea) was coming to a brutal end.
