yes the movie was grizzly; and lately i've been watching way too many horror flicks. finding this neat little tune was not enough good that it outweighed the bad. please pray for me that i develop a desire for more wholesome movies. let peace rule
I saw a movie called Grizzly Bear and when the movie was over it started to play that song and I started to sing along and my mom and my step dad started to laugh and staring at me!!!!
Thanks for the comment. I listen to this every so often; it lifts my spirits. Cool that you nailed the source. I thought the sisters did the best cover :)
it was at the beginning of grizzly park too, i looked this up cause i plan to torment a friend of mine that this song drove crazy after we watched it haha
A lovely song with a lovely bear for children that was imported to a horror moive named "Grizzly Park", making the bear more scary and cruel.. What was the hell!
Why did This song randomly pop into my head and made me remember that movie Grizzly Park that freaked me out as a kid 💀💀💀 I haven’t heard this song since like 2009.
@GerrardRonaldo you're right about the character building; you are right about the cheesy "attack" scenes. it makes me wonder if it's more than budget issues, like they make these films to be laughable on purpose. i liked seeing "Aaron" from 24; he could be a notable actor if he would. At least i took away this cute little song from the movie.... blessings
The song's from the album "25 Fun Animal Songs" by Twin Sisters. I first bought a different version on the "Giggly Wiggly" album. Both songs on Amazon for .99 cents. Not trying to sound like a "Goldilocks & the Three Bears" story, but the "Giggly" version is too fast at 2:52, the "25 Fun..." version is too slow at 3:12, the movie version is just right at 3:01. I used Audacity 1.3 beta to speed up tempo of "25 Fun..." version by 6%. Now it's perfect. Google "Speed Up MP3 File" for directions.
I second that emotion Brother! As it turned out, after suffering through the thing, i found this gem at the very end. it's a really good 'feelgood' tune, eh? have a bless ed day!
It just seemed "campy" to me; maybe i watch too many thrillers; i'd give it a 6/10 cause i like the park ranger; he plays Aaron in the tv show 24. maybe i'll run across grizzly park again one day and watch it closely. while on the subject, what did you like most about it?
@hyperchick707 The other day, I met a bear, A great big bear, Oh way out there. He looked at me, I looked at him, He sized up me, I sized up him. He said to me, "Why don't you run? I see you ain't, Got any gun." I says to him, "That's a good idea." "Now legs get going, get me out of here!" And so I ran, Away from there, But right behind me, Was that bear. In front of me, There was a tree, A great big tree, Oh glory be! The lowest branch, Was ten feet up So I thought I'd jump
@MultiAlexisdavis i was new at posting vids and don't know how in the world i repeated the song twice. i would like to repost it correctly but fear i will lose all these keen comments; do you know if such is the case: thanks
wow; i was unaware of that bible story; i found its in 2 Kings. thanks for pointing that out.......not sure the producers had that in mind for the movie or not:)
@hyperchick707 don't have much time at present but will add to my 'to do' list. lyrics online are different and if you decide to listen, pause the video and write these lyrics out yourself, i'd appreciate it; and if you can't understand some words of what she's singing here, let me know as i know them. blessings
do you mean "horror"? there is indeed horror in bear attacks; i laugh at this the same as at slapstick humor i guess; ever listen to the lyrics in some of the nursery rhymes we grew up with? now therin lies some wicked horror!
@KingdomUploader My friend and me watched this abomination on Netflix a couple months ago. Needless to say, it was hilariously horrific. I don't think I'll ever laugh more than what I did when that bear bit the nose of that serial killer dude.
@GerrardRonaldo Besides lola sitting there screaming with her guts hangin out. That was about the best attack scene. As well as the bear hitting bebes's boob off. and it flying and hitting a tree.
@hyperchick707 And trust my luck. And so I jumped, Into the air, and I missed that branch, A way up there. Now don't you fret, And don't you frown,I Caught that branch, On the way back down! Thats all there is, There is no more,Until i meet, That bear once more, the end the end, the end the end, the end the end, the end the end, the end the end, the end, the end, this time its really is the end
@hyperchick707 Wait hold on, you get kids to listen to this?? I mean it's a great song for kids and all but wouldn't the parents find out about it? The word "gun" is in it. Lol. Just saying cause I remember I was in Child care and we had to change Santa claus's 'ho ho ho' to 'ha ha ha'
@hyperchick707 Hey hippie chick, er, hyperchick:-), i have a brand new homebuilt awesom pc now with windows ; w has an editing program called 'debut'; once i figure out how to work it, i'll see if it has a feature that will let me overlay the lyrics and re post. have a bless ed day!
the movie grizzly park is a retelling of a story from the bible were a bald man named esha i believe was beig harassed by a group of kids and the lord sent two she bears out of woods to eat them i wonder if that is where we get the saying i don't have to out run the bear i just got to out run you
I wouldn't have expected to hear such a cutesy song in a movie about people getting mauled by a trained attack bear.
i got this version from the movie grizzly park by separating the a/v; the song played through the closing credits.
blessings
Girl: *Jumps higher than ten feet*
Bear: Wtf
Girl: *Misses branch*
Bear: yes food
Girl: *Catches branch*

Thanks for the comment. I listen to this every so often; it lifts my spirits. Cool that you nailed the source. I thought the sisters did the best cover :)
You're welcome, Kevin.

Happy new year!
it was at the beginning of grizzly park too, i looked this up cause i plan to torment a friend of mine that this song drove crazy after we watched it haha
This is the best song ever
I watched the movie yesterday, like most of the viewers I too had horrible(not horror) experience!
this is my favorite english song.
A lovely song with a lovely bear for children that was imported to a horror moive named "Grizzly Park", making the bear more scary and cruel.. What was the hell!

Ha ha ha ha Grizzly Park!! Good movie!
I agree; the movie was typical modern horror and this neat little song at the end did nothing to redeem the movie. thanks for commenting
Why did This song randomly pop into my head and made me remember that movie Grizzly Park that freaked me out as a kid 💀💀💀 I haven’t heard this song since like 2009.

@JimmyVanReaper I learned it from the older kids when we camped in Yosemite in the late '70s and early '80s.
@okamishiraunirules : so glad u had fun with this; peace
I was singing this back in the early 90s at 4-H camp. I think it may predate that movie...

@allisonwuzzherr actually; it played a lot throughout the movie! LOVE it!
Bears can climbs tho.
Such a fun little song! Love the vid!
this song should've played in 2010's Yogi Bear film.
It just seemed "campy" to me; maybe i watch too many thrillers; i'd give it a 6/10 cause i like the park ranger; he plays Aaron in the tv show 24. maybe i'll run across grizzly park again one day and watch it closely. while on the subject, what did you like most about it?
From Twin Sisters: Songs for Learning Volume 1 with Sarah Valley and Lori Casteel
I heard this at the begging of Grizzly Park but then it ended in the middle so I came here to find out what happened after she missed the branch.
Grizzly park is crazy
@musicbox193 this version is done by 'twin sisters'
grizzly park is so scary movie!!!!😭😭😱😱😱
Movie was enjoyable wish skab would've lived. Ranger bob ftw.
you're the first to ask this most obvious question; it's from a kid's song album and done be "Twin Sisters"
thats really cool ^^
IMBD shows this song is performed by "Twin Sisters" www.imdb.com/title/tt0915460/soundtrack I found a soundbyte of this group and it sounds identical.
The tune of this song is used in the video game 'Pooyan'.
jaja the song is amazing.
@103131mes thanks and bless you; i thought so too!!!
@jellybeanhelene917
Yes; it was cool. I enjoyed the ranger ; he played the secret service agent in the show 24!

@MultiAlexisdavis Right! be careful or you may find yourself humming it in the elevator:)
I love this little song, but the movie "Grizzly Park" is pretty, graphic.
do you mean "horror"? there is indeed horror in bear attacks; i laugh at this the same as at slapstick humor i guess; ever listen to the lyrics in some of the nursery rhymes we grew up with? now therin lies some wicked horror!

If you're Jewish, you can sing Adon Olam to this tune.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adon_Olam
Anyone else realize the connection between the bible passage and the deaths in grizzly park? XD
@GerrardRonaldo Besides lola sitting there screaming with her guts hangin out. That was about the best attack scene. As well as the bear hitting bebes's boob off. and it flying and hitting a tree.
@ColorfulPhotography If you say so.
Who else heard this at the end of Grizzly Park?
@KingdomUploader i guess it does.
