One thing about you Batesy, your someone that’s keeps giving. I don’t comment on every vid, but the new vids roll in at the right time when I need them. We all see the effort that goes into these videos and it is very much appreciated. Stay safe digger and keep ‘em commin.
All the comments on safety. Seriously peps. I saw self proclaimed “Mr4WD” lol (Pat Callinan) put on every possible type of safety gear in bright orange and then cut a 3 inch log. Looked a total tosser. Pants protect from cutting a major artery in your thigh and dying instantly. Other safety equipment is optional. Timbo is a real man and knows how to handle a chain saw.
Great reply mate. Thanks a lot for that. Pants for me is all i put on. If everyone else wants to cover from head to toe, they can go for it. Thanks again mate. Cheers Tim
The sound of bird chatter. The wind whistle through the leaves of the gums. The rain hitting the earth. The thunder cracking. The billy boiling on the fire. It’s about being bush. It’s the meaning of camping. Fantastic Timbo mate.
Tim, I must've watched this video 4 or 5 times now because I just love it. Just you and the bush and nothing else to distract me. I think you're communicating so much in this simple video. I suggest we need more of them! I can feel your deep admiration for the land and for the simplicity of just being in the bush. Thank you so much.
Gday James Thank you so much for your feedback. It was a very different trip that one, with just the sounds of the bush doing the talking. I’ll look into more videos of this format for sure mate. Thanks again. Cheers Tim.

I finally got down and crossed into Victoria on the 4th November for a 4 day Solo 4WD Trip. My 1st Night Camp site was at Nunnock Camp Grounds in the Southern Forest. Entered Victoria via Delegate, stopped and checked out Ambyne Suspension Bridge, had lunch and a swim at McKillops Bridge, then over to Suggan Buggan Historic Schoolhouse. My second Nights Camp site was at the Suggan Buggan Town Reserve. I was going to try the Ingeegoodbee Track and get to where the Murray River starts, but the Ingeegoodbee Track was closed due to the wet weather, so back track to Limestone Rd and onto Mt Misery Track and finally went onto Davies Track down to Tom Groggin. The Davis Track had had a some good winds in recent times, a heap of trees down around Davies Plains Hut all the way down to Tom Groggin. The Murray River was too high to cross, so made My was back up Mt Hope Track to Omeo, and then down the Omeo / Corryong Road and pulled into to Ah Sye Camping Area on the Gibbo River around 10pm for my 3rd Night Camp site. Day 4 was Corryong, Tumbarumba, Gundagai and onto the freeway back home. The rain put a damper on sight seeing a little, and made the freshly graded roads like a skating wring, only seen 3 other Campers/4WD'ers out there, and only passed 1 4WD on the Davies Track. I did enjoy my 4 days . . . but 4 days was not enough to see everything I wanted to see, so already thinking about my next trip sometime next year.
Sounds like an unreal trip across stunning country. Just be careful on Davies Plain Tk as it is still seasonally closed until November 30th. Cheers Tim

Hiya Tim, strange not to hear your famous greeting but what a great vid this is. Great bird sounds like the Murray River and fantastic river. Bit wet and windy but I'm sure that fire kept you warm. Thanks for sharing again. Regards from UK Paul.
I would give my left testicle (possibly) to be able to access places like this. An off road tour of Australia is on my bucket list. Probably never be able to afford it, but if I can, a bloke like you would be first choice as a guide. Love these videos!
G’day Tim, that was nicely done.”How’s the serenity?”We forget just how noisy the bush can be without our input. The pasta looked yum.My Italian fore fathers would’ve preferred it if you had used the traditional grated “Grana Padano” cheese!Cheers, Rob👌.
