  • This is my review of the Sony RX100 MIII. I purchased this camera for streaming, primarily, and it has been absolutely amazing for just that. It also makes for an amazing little 1080p cinema camera. This is the best budget camera for filming and streaming. Enjoy!

are you using a capture card with a hmdi cable or just a micro usb cable?.. I noticed that using just the micro usb cable limits the resolution to like 584 or something because usb 2.0 limits the bandwidth. I bought a cheap capture card for 20$ and using the micro or mini hdmi cable (can't remember which one I bought) and got the 1080p 30 or 720 fps ...

Thanks for stopping by! I used what is called a "dummy battery". This is a fake battery that connects to a wall socket into your camera. Your camera thinks it's a normal battery, but essentially, it's just a battery that never runs out. They're fairly cheap, at around $20.

Can we see your exact setup A/B style just swapping the RX 100 camera in? • @TechSummitTV

Hi! The simplest explanation would just be that you need a capture card like the Elgato HD60S+ or the Elgato Camlink and a Micro HDMI to HDMI cable to connect from your camera, to the capture card, back to the computer. You would need to download Elgato's software from there.
