Robert H. Whittaker proposed the classification of living things. First one to propose five-kingdom classification of living things. He was an ecologist.
KINGDOM monera
They are prokaryotes (having undeveloped nucleus and not distinct other specialised cell organelles) and multiply by binary fission. And are unicellular ofc.
