Cajun cardboard is a TH-cam channel focused on basketball card Collecting and Basketball card Investing. There will be a heavy emphasis on Michael Jordan cards as well as other cards from the 1990s.
There will be content regarding box breaks, grade reveals, PSA, BGS, Michael Jordan cards, 1990s basketball cards, lebron james cards, nba cards, Luka Doncic cards, vintage cards, Explore the Card Episodes which are a highly detailed investigation into certain Michael Jordan inserts and parallel cards from the 1980s and the 1990s and a special section called “basketball card battles” where I compare certain cards of similar value and determine which card or cards I would rather own and why.
All of the slabbed cards I own that you see in these videos are in the PWCC Vault in Tigard, Oregon. I chose to store the cards there to lower costs, Insure them, protect them and eliminate the concern of damage resulting from fire flood humidity or theft.

Love this. Not just the first Jordan refractor, but being #1 in the set, the first ever basketball refractor. 😮

Taking a trip back into time, when Cajun was filming his monitor from a webcam or phone 😂
Great content, this one aged well!

Hilarious and a great reminder of the era before I became a tech genius. 😂😂😂

Hello, I have this card raw, but I see some slabs say refractor, is there a way to tell if mine is a refractor? They are extremely similar

Thanks for the video! I have a raw one that's been in a shoebox for ~20 years - the color looks good on it though. Probably will send to PSA eventually. I agree that this is absolutely a must have due to it being his first refractor.

Gotta get that raw graded for sure. 💪💪

Love this. Your explanation of greening is very important. My 1996 Iverson is really bad.
    Keep up the good work!

I wish I knew more about greening. Really I just know I want to avoid it and hope for the best for the greenable cards I own.

I have one that has not been graded yet. Bought it 29 years ago from this shop close to my house right after about three quarters of my high end cards from my collection were stolen. Its ben in a hard case the entire time that I have owned it, Never once has it been out of the case. Its in immaculate condition. the only thing holding it back from a ten grading would be the centering. But its only off less than 1/16 of an inch. Everything else is perfect. No greening. Yet anyways....Knock on wood!!!! Do you have any advice on how to go about getting in graded in a somewhat timely manner? I have other cards that I would like to graded as well. Thank you

Psa BGS and SGC websites are super straight forward to make a submission Troy. For a card like that if you do the $150 level you’ll get it back in a very short time period from psa but bgs and sgc are other options if you are thinking to keep the card rather than sell it

On the back of the card, is there an indicator stating its a refractor, or do you have to go with the reflection on the front?

For this particular card there is no designation on the back. Sometimes It can be hard to tell what is a base and what is a Refractor from pictures for 1993 finest, but if you have the card in your hand it is very very easy to tell the difference Chris.

Why is there a larry bird in the set when he retired the year before

So much info here mate! Loved it. It may be an unpopular opinion but I’ve just never liked the look of MJ on this card, but you can’t deny the significance. Really enjoying these. 👍🏻

This was an excellent video talking about Jordan's first ever refractor! Fitting for your first ever episode for "EXPLORE THE CARD". I can't wait to follow this series. At 52 cards a week you will finally be done in about... uhm.... 2071. 🤣🤣🤣
    Congratulations!
P.S. If I close my eyes I can almost convince myself Peyton Manning is talking about Jordan cards. Ha ha ha!

Hahaha. Thanks. I’m excited to hopefully provide some detailed data that helps collectors with the Jordan card world. What card do you want me to explore next?
