Pennies minted between 1859 and 1864 were made of a different composition and weighed 4.67 grams. Not to mention A penny is also 0.75 inches in diameter and 0.0598 inches thick. As to where A General Electric ES44AC locomotive weighs 432,000 lbs. The ES44ACH version of the locomotive weighs 436,320 lbs.

The penny actually held up better than I thought it would. I thought it would become a 2" long, paper-thin oval!
