You can activate the patch glue by flipping your iron and placing the patch on the surface of the iron (glue side up). The glue starts melting after about 15 seconds, then grab it with some tweezers and stick it on your cover. Edit: you could probably microwave the patch too.
lovely decor, i hear many say to scruff up the leather area underneath any places ones to use adhesives etc on leather, it will reinforce its hold onto TN, i used my decopage hand sander lightly. worked great!
This is gorgeous! I'm making a travelers notebook for church sermons and bible studying, and I am so inspired by your patches! Such a great idea!! ❤ 💡 ✝️. New subscriber!!
That was a fun video! Here's something you may enjoy: when you get a favorite patch (or photo), scan it into your computer and then print it out on inkjet magnetic sheets and you can turn anything into a "refrigerator magnet". 🧲🤗
Love this Kimberlee. I just picked up a patch from a special event here. It does not have adhesive on the back but was considering picking up spray adhesive or super glue. Q: where did you get your magnetic pen loop? Thank you in advance, Cynthia ❤
Thanks Cynthia! The super/nail glue has worked really well for me. That magnetic pen loop is made by The Superior Labor. I got this one from Yoseka Stationery. They can be pretty hard to come by and always sell out pretty fast. I think there are some dupes available on AliExpress, though, so that could be an option.
@@MartinMadeCo Thank you Kimberlee; I just placed and order not to long ago with Superior Labor and although the communication with Mits was top notch, the S&H costs was just as much as my order itself LOL. I'll find something but that pen loop looks pretty nice. Thanks for the leads. Luv, Cynthia

Good to know! Does that mess up the surface of the iron? Or does the adhesive not melt enough to stick to the iron?
@@MartinMadeCo Nah.. hot plate facing up and put the patch on the hot plate, glue side up. Glue does not touch the hot plate.
Oh, I got it! Makes perfect sense.

That makes perfect sense! I’ll definitely try that going forward. Thanks Kristine 😊
Love the patch❤

It’s a great setup for when you want to separate a few functions while still keeping them all in the same cover. Thanks for subscribing! ☺️
