Also, i am from PEC and have a couple of friends in thapar. Their studying schedule is really fuckall. 9 to 5 classes even in 4th yr. Whereas in pec in 4th yr we have only 2 subjects . Life is much chill in pec and a plethora of extra curricular activities are there which always keep you busy. Chandigarh city is amazing and the fact that you can roam around for indefinite time makes you realise importance of freedom.
Grading is strict. Unlike Pvt colleges, where almost everyone is a 8 pointer, here in PEC you really need to study, which I believe is the right way.

Information is a lit bit older now pec also have synthetic courts with proper night lighting and also have swimming pool. Now talking about labs pec has collaborated with siemens and we have a very advanced lab called COE siemens lab in our college which is working and students can get access for any project by talking to our professors and yes talking about quality of students and city to live PEC is far good than thapar here you will meet with extraordinary minds compared to thapar and less competition

Thapar low scores pe admission deta hai last year thapar general punjab 3rd cutoff 84 pe gyi rhi but 62 marks pe bhi admission mil gyi thi. Kharcha bahut hai par placement achi hai. Punjab valon ke liye fayda hai.
Placement ratio achi nhi h . Seats are very large in number and top offers less
There is no OBC kota in PEC and even sc st seats are very less

FOOD CLINIC Don't go for PEC due to it's outdated Curriculum.. which is not upto the requirements of industry...poor nirf ranking ...low placement in all other branches..

Companies like SanDisk (Western Digital), Texas instruments, GE, Alstom,L&T, Hero,Tata,Maruti,Amex, Microsoft, Exxon mobil, Deutsche Bank, Amadeus,JP Morgan,Mckinsey,Mediatek,NXP etc visit the campus. The list goes on. Electrical students are eligible in core companies and most of the software companies as well.

Sir ek hai ki thapar mai multiple job offers nahi hai....to usse dikkat aayegi shyd....esa hai ki agar ek job mai recruit ho gae to upar(higher packages) nahi jaa sakte bcoz iss saal inho ne rule bnaya hai ki single job offer only....baki vit jese colleges multiple job offers de rahe hai...indirectly dekha jae to ek baacha agar 5 -5 offers le rha hai to apne aap hi total job offers ka revord todenge...but iss se shyd weak suffer karte honge....sir mai currently vit vellore cs mai hu...aur mai apse puchna chata hu agar mujhe thapar cs mil rha ho to jau ya na...sir thoda jaldi btana....by the way ur videos r too good ...keep it up...👍
