Hey Beautiful!! I’m so happy you loved your results!! 🎉🥰 You may have used a bit too much of The Twist-Elongating Style Cream which I think may have caused those little bits! A little really goes a long way, so you can def use less! If you have low porosity hair, try spritzing your section with warm water first to help open up your cuticles to receive and drink in the product more! Lo-po hair tends to need a little extra warmth to open up for butters and oils. Also when you get a chance definitely try our Multi-Use Softening Leave In Conditioner to apply after The African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo! It’s always great to recondition after using Black soap, and it helps to re-moisturize, add shine and clump your curls as well! So it’s a great last step prior to styling. Even if you rinse it out (I see you don’t like leave-ins 😆😆) but one of its uses is as a rinse out conditioner as well. It’s just a great follow up to our African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo to help re-balance and prep for styling!! 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you so much for your love and support!! 🤗😘❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for the feedback and tips. 😀 I loved the products and definitely would repurchase. I used a DC after the shampoo, but I did REGRET not picking up that leave in to use as a DC.😫 I'm sure I'll grab it in the future. Thanks again for commenting and being an inspiration to the natural hair community. 💕💕
girllllll i thought you were a famous youtuber your content on point i see fast growth ahead of you stay sweet and excellent job on the video!!!! May i just say your makeup can't compare natural beauty!!!
Read the card about the product. The twist out cream is not meant to work just with water. That happened to me when i used it just with water and yes you used too much of the product. To do a refresher of your hair mix the live in and the oil. Very defined and no flakes. On freshly washed hair use leavin oil the cream you will love it then. I have all three products. Now that the soap is out i will order that also.
I cant stand when people use products that are meant to be applied on soaking wet hair aka in the shower after having the shower run through your head properly. Therefore in this way, you will use more product when you just need to add more water. Specially with this product. Also I don’t suggest buying just the shampoo, specially in some lines where it’s made to balance each other out and not just a marketing tactic. I think that would give a fair and a better results.
Thanks for watching. I have the entire collection. Love them all! 💕 I definitely agree that less it more with this shampoo. Apply it how you feel is best. In or out of the shower, it's still a fave.
I honestly just "perfected" it this year. I was doing wash n gos and I wasn't seeing growth, after my cut. I started doing twist outs and my hair flourished. You just have to be patient and try different methods. 😁
You should try the oil also it’s not greasy and it goes well with the elongating cream. I just received my shampoo. I can say her products are the best on the market for all hair types and you get a lot of product for the cost. Also, I love that her products don’t have harmful chemical that damages the hair.
I agree 100%. Definitely get your money's worth. I will be purchasing the leave-in and the oil for sure. Everyone keeps telling me to get it. Thanks for watching.💕
I ordered this same 2 products also. I got the shampoo because my scalp is crazy too but sulphur has brought my scalp back to life! So I figured this would help even more!
Great video! New subbie, the styling cream pairs great with wet line, but your right it’s a lighter fluffier hold (which I actually prefer) but try throwing a few twists in your hair and night and cover and you’ll get more days out of your style🤗
I've been looking at reviews for the shampoo and most are not reading and/or following the directions for use. And most are using too much. (In my opinion)
First time viewer, just got my shampoo trying it today. Praying this will be my scalps get right! I pair the cream with grapeseed oil you do need to use a small amount and stretch it with an oil.
Hi Lysa! First, I think your freckles are so adorable! You must hear that all the time. 😀 I'm low-po and primarily do twistouts. Yours came out so nice. I haven't tried anything from the line at all yet, but I plan too. Thanks for the review. New to your channel! I have an active channel as well and I'd love to stay connected.
I love the Melanin line. The leave in and elongating cream work really well with Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic. My WNG's come out great. I've been DIY that shampoo for a couple months now, i am so happy they finally released. I love it.
Hey, great review ☺️ I have used her twisting cream and it’s pretty good. I may have to pick up that shampoo. Seems like it’s good for once a month when you need a deep cleanse. I’m crossing my fingers for a sale or something lol.
I don't use oils for a couple of reasons: 1. My hair gets really oily sometimes 2. I have low porosity hair and sometimes oil just sits on top of my hair and doesn't absorb into my strands. I will use an oil sometimes when protective styling to seal in moisture and on my scalp. If it isn't TOO oily. Lol
Def Melanin hair care oil. It’s not oily & if you don’t like it on your hair, you can use it on your body. My mom doesn’t like it on her hair but loves it on her body.

I have reordered the cream multiple times and it is a great cream you have flakes because you used too much. My soap still has not arrived...
When will the visors be back in stock?
Nice! Tips from Natural 85! The head wrap looks nice! 🤗
I believe the visor is in stock.
Your freckles are beautiful.
Thank you so much!
You're really pretty. Don't cover those lovely freckles with make up! 🙂
Thank you! I try not too. 😫😍
You should definitely try melanin hair care oil as it is a none greasy and none oily oil,
I'll be sure to do that! I was a little nervous.
I love her oil. I not only use it on my hair but my body as well 🙂
girllllll i thought you were a famous youtuber your content on point i see fast growth ahead of you stay sweet and excellent job on the video!!!! May i just say your makeup can't compare natural beauty!!!
Thank you for that amazing compliment and thanks for watching. 💕💕
Girl the oil and the leave in are the bomb 💣

OMG your twist out is so pretty. I've been natural for 8 years and still can't master a good twist out.
I honestly just "perfected" it this year. I was doing wash n gos and I wasn't seeing growth, after my cut. I started doing twist outs and my hair flourished. You just have to be patient and try different methods. 😁
Gang gang

You can pre poo with the leave in helps with the shampoo cause it’s is clarifying😉
I'm going to buy it once it's in stock for sure.

Worked for me. I use Sulphur too. AMAZING!

🤚🏽 guilty of using too much. A little goes a long way for sure. Definitely worth the money.

The shampoo helped my scalp for sure. Thanks for watching and for the advice on how to use the product. 😇

Thank you. You should. I really liked it! Yasssss. Lol hopefully black Friday brings some good sales this year.
They are in ULTA STORES
Why don’t you use hair oil?
I don't use oils for a couple of reasons:
1. My hair gets really oily sometimes
2. I have low porosity hair and sometimes oil just sits on top of my hair and doesn't absorb into my strands.
I will use an oil sometimes when protective styling to seal in moisture and on my scalp. If it isn't TOO oily. Lol
Send me your oil to review 💕
Def Melanin hair care oil. It’s not oily & if you don’t like it on your hair, you can use it on your body. My mom doesn’t like it on her hair but loves it on her body.
Everyone keeps saying its good. I'm going to buy it!! I feel like I'm missing out.
