Hello there my name is Anthony. I think I have a solution that may work for you to convert your TV videos onto your computer using USB 2.0 you need to download Windows essentials from 2012. This package contains windows movie maker which is compatible with this camcorder any windows essentials downloads past 2012 will not work. You will need a mini USB two USB 2.0 data cable as well as the 2012 windows essentials package that has windows movie maker in that package. It is no longer available to download from Microsoft so you will need to find it elsewhere on the Internet although I haven’t tried this yet. There is a tutorial on TH-cam showing that it works.
If you type this into the TH-cam search bar “How to transfer video from a miniDV camcorder to a computer via USB” You will find the video it shows a Panasonic camcorder connected to a dell OptiPlex computer on a white table and a USB cord connected to the camcorder. I’m sure you will find a video. Good luck transferring your videos. 🙏😌
