I feel like most of us took for granted how seamlessly soundtracks like this blend genres/tropes. How are you gonna throw record scratches over a melodic piano and still make it sound so elegant
100.000 people who also had some sort of connection to these songs???? I thought i was the ONLY ONE. Its incredible.. to see that there are so many like me EVEN ALMOST 15 YEARS LATER 😭😭😭
I came back for the nostalgia as well and then got hit with a euphoric bomb of satisfying emotions after not listened to the tracks since I was younger TwT This soundtrack is underrated but I feel like I'm in a secret club with only others who truly appreciate this art XD
This literally triggered a bad memory back when I was little (like 8) and playing this everyday and I would ALWAYS fail the time limit to beat the night version by like 1-3 seconds consistently and it just enraged me to no end. Did beat it tho only to get stuck on the final boss and still haven’t beat it to this day as I haven’t played the game for at least a decade (tucked away safely tho along with my PS2 that I played it on)
Hello, I'm listening to this OST for the first time and... WHEN WAS ANYONE GONNA TELL ME IT WAS THIS GOOD ?? Like holy shit I'm in love, I didn't expect this.
Just picked this game up again last week, finally got to play it for the first time in over a decade, told my younger brother that this stage was basically the poolrooms lmaoooo
This theme and its track triggered something within me as a kid. Ever since then, Water-park or just Water-filled tracks/areas now fascinate me. I always loved going to water parks as a kid, and i also grew up right next to the ocean (Long Beach NY), so maybe that's the reason why. But still, I feel like I'm at home in these areas.
When I listened closely, I realized that the gravity sfx also changes for Each Tracks. Here in aquatic capital we can hear the bubble in the gravity effect
The piano in phase 2 reminds me of Pokemon Battle Revolution's soundtrack. These two games are like the sound of my soul, like, if I ever became a composer, I'd make nothing but music like this!
This is easily my favorite stage! I live the how you ride on the water, I live the music transitions as you turn zero gravity into your play thing, overall, it's a wonderful stage to play in.
I get the urge to want to laugh at 0:19 since that part sounds good but silly, and 0:44 is the most memorable to me. Overall, this is a great soundtrack with all the mixes put into it. I wish we had music like this today.
2:30 is my favorite part of the song because of the way it breaks down but i hate that you can barely get the chance to hear it if youre playing this course in single player mode since the music's segmented
I always remember someone saying that hoverboards don't work on water unless you got power. Bet that person is feeling mighty sorry for himself now. Please tell me someone got that joke.
@@soronexle2681 There's actually Hendo Hoverboard which while it only works on a magnetic surface using the same principle as magnetic trains, you gotta start somewhere and there is these Prototypes you can buy, they are just insanely expensive. However the big problem is Hoverboards especially in SFR run on jet propulsion and in SFR, there's two fans under the Boards and the blades run at high speeds and how they can still move at all even without Air, it's some seperate power source making the Extreme Gears basically a jet engine-electric hybrid but the colored streams coming out the back is some kind of by product of Plasma-based Propulsion as plasma is just superheated gas. However Wave mentioned something very important in SFR, the Extreme Gears have a radiator module and with the size of the Boards, it's compact and likely small because it's a module, that immediately has me see them as small-sized.
To this day, I still dream of a futuristic water park environment similar to the aesthetic of this racing track
I have a similar dream
omg same

Yes we can, it’s god tier, end of discussion…
YESS!!!!
SO GOOD
Perfect 🌊🌊
I love it!!!!!
riders had some of the most frutiger aero-esque aesthetics ever bro, i miss this era
a lot of y2k cybercore too
Imo this game captured that aesthetic the best 👌
Cool and all but I can't unsee a toy of some type.

@Radicola of course it is.
Phase 2 is my favorite
@@Bunihime same! Glad someone else agrees
The groove in this track insane. I love how when the strings kick in they add an extra 2 beats in there
yeah
This song feels like some underground jungle drum and base song and I'm all for it. I miss old soundtracks like these
The night version of this track in story mode is EVIL.
Oh my god, YES. I spent ages as a kid trying to beat it only to see Jet say Storm was late anyway.

Right?! I got frustrated when I couldn't make it in time. But now, it's easy to beat that level in story mode
This and snowy kingdom were the bane of anyone's childhood in the babylon story.
Hello, I'm listening to this OST for the first time and... WHEN WAS ANYONE GONNA TELL ME IT WAS THIS GOOD ?? Like holy shit I'm in love, I didn't expect this.
Welcome welcome, you've really been missing out on some bangers. But better late than never!
It's an underrated gem, so that's why people won't really bring up how good the OST is very often.
Welcome to the club. Zero Gravity goes hard through pretty much the entire soundtrack. This one is one of the best in my opinion.
that's what I keep sayin'
I was going to let you know but I didn't know if you were in the water tribe or not 🌊🌊🌊
this is my favorite music of sonic riders zero gravity
Probably one of my most favorite tracks from this game's OST
It seems water stages always gotta have beautiful music, i ain't complaining though!
*I'LL DO MY BEST*
we get it Tails you don't need to scream that every race
*NO WAY I'M GONNA LOSE!!!*
Lmfaoooo
*ALRIGHT!!! BRING IT ON!!!*
You think you can win with that board
*DON’T GET IN MY WAY*
Love how it goes from innocent to mysterious
As a kid this was my favorite song from this game, still is.
nice
Just picked this game up again last week, finally got to play it for the first time in over a decade, told my younger brother that this stage was basically the poolrooms lmaoooo
The stage where the drip only matters
This sounds like "Skyscraper Scamper - Day" from Sonic Unleashed.
ironically, theres a hint of "From the Land of Darkness" from of All things, the Sonic OVA.
Same composer (Fumie Kumatani).
The hell it does!
Sonic Games are never going to be this good anymore.
I bring news
The theme for this level is phenomenal, nothing like I have ever seen.
omg that's so nostalgic thank you ;-;

Thanks to this game i now have a DnB addiction!
sega and sony indoctrinated me into a lifelong love of jungle and dnb before i even knew what a "genre" was
The bass line at 1:22 is amazing
1:23 is so beautiful ❤️
I can't count the Hours i've spent with this Game as a Kid ... Love these good old Times in Gaming!
Did you have it in Wii or PS2?? I have it in wii and i can relate i was a jr in High school when ive spent days on it 🤗

1:46 sounds great too.
Wish I could be in the stage with sonic and the gang jumping off ramps
Manipulating gravity and whatnot 🥺💖💖💖
Who doesn't?
Too bad those Bands are highly dangerous and make a blackhole that destroys everything when coming together.

o ano era 2010 e eu vivia jogando este jogo no meu ps2.... Que tempo bom foi esse

One of the best soundtracks in a sonic game
perhaps the best, even
shame the game wasn't great
1:22 just hits so hard bro it's always stuck in my head
it's just so nostalgic holy shit
the mid 2000s japanese sci fi aesthetic
I remember this used to be my favorite level omg
WE NEED A SONIC RIDERS REMAKE/REMASTER

Sounds like that one song that plays in the sonic ova, when sonic and tails are traveling to mobotropolis
That's actually where 0:45 came from. The land of darkness scene in Sonic ova.
best sonic game ever
Greatest conceptually, truly a magnificent game
Phase 3 is my favorite y’all.
I love grinding out my rings with the Gambler on Aquatic Capital.
