Today we take a look at Call of Duty's controversial yet somewhat successful game mode Modern Warfare Zombies. I just want to dive into my overall thoughts now that we are at the end of the life cycle and what I think they should do moving forward. Thanks for all the support! - Ghost

Sure the classic zombies is okay for a while. But eventually it just becomes to you basically just try and stay alive and just running in big ass circles with a trail of zombies falling behind you and it's just you running in circles over and over not really serving any real purpose to me. The open world will always be king to me....
I agree with you both. Fun for easter eggs once, then I have no motivation to play. And 99% watch guides to do them anyways so really what's the point.
I love MWZ and I used to play the original zombies round based way back in the day. I came back to zombies with MWZ. If it truly got the support it deserves it could be truly awesome. There’s literally no limits to what they could implement with this mode. I am not a fan of mercs at all. I’m gonna give B06 a shot but am worried I’m gonna be disappointed in it. I enjoy the uprgradable style gameplay with schematics but hate the cooldowns. It’s like zombies meets RPG or something. If they never expand upon this concept it’ll be truly disappointing .
I've never really been a hardcore zombies player but I've played almost all release maps from WaW through to BO4 and a good amount of the early dlc maps. I've not done too much of the EE content throughout that although I have consumed alot of its content. That being said I picked up MWZ in mid October and I've been enjoying it and I hope they run with it in the future and flesh out a solid storyline for it and add random events that can happen in any game that could bring players together a little more. I think right now I'd be more likely pick up a CoD that had a more similar zombies game mode to this instead of ones where it's a EE to even packapunch!
When I first played this mode I was abit overwhelmed with it being on a big (warzone) map. But honestly after grinding it out and getting every schematic now so far, mark of the survivor and the infinite cosmos stg I absolutely have loved this mode so much. I'm a huge camo guy so it was also a bonus getting borealis and bioiluminscent for my guns. I would 100% want to see this type of zombies return and thanks for all your videos too bro
They had a great thing and they dropped the ball AGAIN, just like DMZ, the open world is where it’s at, played zombies for decades and the round base to me get repetitive and boring rather quickly, they put a great mode and fell short like everything else. If they would spent some more time with and work on the game it would have succeeded. As far as a what team work on it A or B, the bottom line the whole game of MW3 you would have thought the C team was working on it with all the issues it has as a whole. 🤦♂️
@@mikeinca3762 yes it did take them a while to fix stuff .One of my friends still crash a bunch.He crashed twice in one day lost everything he had .no tombstone but as we all know it wouldn't work on that anyway.
First yes I played little round based zombies through the past COD Zombies releases. Yet enough to know what’s going on. With this new Mw3 Zombies open world map style, I can say I greatly enjoyed it more by a long shot. So much more could have been done/added yet was solid foundation. I really hope 2.0 of this mode is developed sooner than later. Keep up the awesome work with the vids!

I loved DMZ so it’s not a surprise that I love MWZ. Season 1 was such a fun experience for both games. I’ve played cod since world at war and love round based zombies, but the open world style game beats the OG zombies imo.
well, COD pretty much need to keep both DMZ and MWZ concepts (PvPvE and large open world PvE, both are Extraction shooter) as stable games, BattleRoyale trend is lowering in recent years, meanwhile Extraction Shooter like Tarkov start gaining a lot of attention and player base. It gave players sense of complete instead of constant sweaty fest like BR or MP. Both DMZ and MWZ can turn to part of main campaign story telling , or can replace some part of Single play Campaign, or even some large events in Campaign like MWIII's reveal event (Siege of Obversatory, which pretty much full PvE DMZ match in dissguise)
Where round base gets almoat unstantly repative, MWZ gets really addicting. I have everything, borealis and Bioiluminescent on every gun, all available aftermarket parts, all camos, all schematics, 7 operators fully kitted with max containment, literally everything. I keep telling myself, Im done with MWZ but i keep booting it up, squading in t3 doing the warlord, going to the DA, ect. I keep telling myself, its getting old or should be but its not. Then you throw in the evenslts, weekly challenges like warzone and MP and its just endless.
I enjoyed zombies during WaW but stopped playing around bo1, mwz got me back into the mode even though I never thought I'd touch it. Obviously I'll try bo6 zombies but i'm still not sure about going back to round based but hopefully I'm wrong. Was this mode perfect? god no, it was full of bugs, glitches and took forever for them to fix anything (apart from guns they thought were overpowered) but I enjoyed it and I hope they revisit the idea again in the future, they've got mwz to work from and this year has shown that open world has its own fan base that would welcome it back

Just the fact that Modern Warfare came out with Zombies was amazing by itself in my honest opinion, because I never thought that would happen ever. Either way no joke, Mw3 zombies is pretty dope
Excellent retrospective. MWZ definitely deserved better, but what we did get was still a solid, highly replayable experience. Still wish it had an offline solo mode, preferably without the timer, but I still like that there's a fairly stress-free, full vibes PvE extraction shooter I can play. And it's based on a game mode that I sometimes prefer much more than MP. And I say that as someone who is slightly sweaty.
Personally, I'd really like to see a full, standalone Zombies game; completely detached from COD. A dedicated Zombies team that only had to worry about Zombies could deliver a more consistent, content-rich experience. And I wouldn't have to keep dumbass COD HQ!
Yep. The lack of post launch content is the problem for me with MWZ as well. I mean the mode was fun in the beginning. And once you got to the first dark eather mission it kinda just died. And even with the eather rifts I found it kinda annoying that you couldn't solve the puzzles based on the game alone. "Here, use brain rot ammo, shoot a cyst it will turn color, destroy all the other cysts go to the last cyst, take pill bottle go through a rift mid air fly through a green rift take the mission that appears and at the end you have a gold pill bottle." Dude how am I supposed to figure this out?? So with all of those it was like Google what you're supposed to do and then do this tedious task. And what was the reward at the end? New op schematics to do absolutely nothing with because that dark eather was the only new content you got. They could have given us so much more.
The open world zombies hands down I have to give it to them was the best idea for a zombies mode. Mind you I didn’t try out zombies till season 3.
Great video. A lot of players that play this game are new to zombies because of it. So it’s been a great thing overall IMO

Still not a tier 3, DA player. I recognize and accept my limits. But this version of zombies is my thing. I liked DMZ before pvp and never liked round based lack of space magnifies lack of ability quickly. Liked outbreak and hated vanguard completely. Not a fan of mercs and warlords. So like DA and t3 I stay away and still have a good time. Sometimes I get lucky and someone drops a schematic I don't have or have enough acquisitions to do a story mission or an occasional season 2 or 3 regular sigil. Which like my occasional visit to public places with a crowd. Cures me of those experiences curiosity for a while.

Maybe I have missed something, but what is the point of going in and out of ADS while shooting? I see people do this a lot and have yet to see the point. Does it help? Is there a benefit or is it the YY BS that people do for no reason at all. Thanks in advance for your answers.
@@googie4854 not at all. The Deadshot perk after ads snaps the reticle to the critical hit area. (Mainly the head) that’s why people spam aim in zombies.

anyone down to help me get some schematics? i’ve never been to the elder dark aether yet so i have no good schematics. I currently have an elder sigil but i’m nervous about going solo and i’m not even sure which one to go into.

A few of my mates have said they reckon the black screen is being left on purpose to try and move people to blops6. Worst bit is I wouldn't even be surprised.

Zombies is the sh.t but I don't understand it has good player base so why would you stop supporting MW3 zombies.
Honestly would rather just have regular DMZ come back and treyarch does the zombies nobody else and Activision and infinity ward and the other studios can do the DMZ mode.... I don't really like zombies & DMZ mixed. Everything that John DMZ had came over to mwz and it should have never even been in the game contracts mercenaries you know none of that should have been ever in zombies, that's not zombies... I want regular DMZ back more than any other mode....
Dmz was peak, I actually got my whole team back on for a couple of months with it, unfortunately they dislike mwz alot, we're more old school zombie fans
