Take that account sustainability advice with a healthy grain of salt. What is your expected EV from this book over it's life? If you're getting a 1k freecrack and can get 80 to 90% retention. Your EV per bet is 800 to 900 If you just donk it off on a even odds mug bet and take 30%, you just lost 500-600 in EV. If you have a 5% edge, it's going to take you $12,000 in turnover at 5% to make back that 600 you sacrificed. If you're doing props with $50 units, that's 240 bets. What are the chances your account gets gubbed/limited during those 240 bets, how many MORE bets do you think you'd be able to get out of it after the essential "breakeven" point, AND how much extra time and effort is this costing you? Your time is valuable. For me to be willing to burn that early value, I'd really want an expected value from the book to be 5x the deposit offer.
With all that being said, I’ve been a pretty dull bettor for my entire life. Recently a switch went off and I’m paying attention to things I hadn’t been. If anybody knows where I can go to let someone use my unlimited books, let me know. I understand that this obviously involves a level of trust at the beginning…
Rob, The US State Department issued travel warnings for Jamaica on Monday. 65 murders in 4 weeks. If you stay at a resort you should be fine. Ochos Rios and Negril could be sketchy during the drive between the Montego Bay(MBG) airport and your resort(Dont stop moving if you don't have to). My brother & sister in Law are going to my time share in Ochos Rios in March for their anniversary and have been freaking out about going. I think they have sent me 10 articles in the last 3 days about the warning and today she told me the SD raised the warning to 3 out of 5. Most resorts have security, some armed. So just be aware of your surroundings.
I used to live in Montego Bay (worked for a well known sportsbook there) and whilst there are some very scary parts of Jamaica and violent crime is high, your chances as a tourist or straying into an area where you are likely to be subjected to anything of that nature are very, very small. The drive from MBG to either Ocho Rios or Negril, so long as you stick to the main roads will be absolutely fine (well road accidents aside which are a big risk in Ja). Also the North of the country where most of the resorts are based are much safer. Obviously it makes sense to be aware but the travel warnings are a massive overreaction.

And I agree with your assessment, but if they're burning the sugar cane fields sometimes you have to stray from the A1/A2 because the fires can jump over the road. I've had to detour around the fires a couple times. You'll see pure poverty if you go down the wrong road. Montego Bay is safe unless you stray away from the resort at night; and even at night you would have to be looking for trouble(or totally sh!tfaced) to get caught up in anything. Most of the murders are happening in Kingston so the number is skewed for those not familiar with the island. I'm not too worried(and have told my brother & SiL not to worry) but I'm not sure if Rob has children. My nephews are scared to leave the property bc they saw someone get the sh!t kicked out them on main street in Ochos a few years back. Biggest warning I give to friends is to make sure you're diligent in applying sunscreen(SPF 50 at a minimum). You can get torched in a small amount of time; especially if you have a pool with a bar in it(which most resorts have). Worst sunburn I've ever had was in Negril. I lived in Maui for 4 years and the sun isn't nearly as bad as it is in Jamaica; it's also far less humid in Hawaii.
Hearing this on how sportsbooks think with bonuses etc, I have to think this is Sports Interaction. I start to think they intentionally set these appealing price boosts so they can peg off who is the shaper bettor. I was barely ahead at all, only a couple hundred bucks and got limited to basically not being able to play boosts and $1 on anything else. But they said I can still use the casino LOL. The parking thing couldnt be more true I say this all the time...
