Jack Rosenthal was a mentor of mine and he made this print for himself when he donated the original to the Smithsonian. It hung over his desk for decades and I bought it from his widow after his death.
Condition is always an issue when appraising off pictures. That is why I always specify catalog value. You really can't tell value until you can inspect it in person

Few days ago a lady donated a Stamb collection to the library. The collection was with Greek stambs from the 40s.. I think 🤔 I wanted to film it
Some of those early US were out of focus, and appear they are either seconds, or somewhat damaged, worth only a tiny fraction of catalog.
