He can deliver multitude of profound feelings not only through hard hitting lyrics but even in subtle ways. They said genius is taking the complex and making it simple. Hanbin has a way of capturing the complexity of human emotions and experiences, and translate it into simple expressions that evoke imagination and our own complex reality. There's always this genuine feeling in his music whether it's about having fun or dealing with heartaches. You can tell there is purpose for each element and not just jumbled together to force an impact on you. On top of this, he is an incredibly versatile songwriter. There's a reason why he is the first and only idol and youngest Korean artist to win Songwriter of The Year. He takes an extensive role in producing songs and doesn't need a long list of songwriters nor a long time to create. As you pointed out, this is a song that heals despite the pain. A common theme found in Hanbin's music. It's sad that he had to go through a personal crisis when he was helping people with his music aside from giving back to society through different causes. However, Hanbin is a sincere person and a real talent as testified by his colleagues so he will be back for sure. In fact, companies can't resist releasing his songs for their artists including iKON despite his hiatus. Not surprising since the group has a brotherly bond. iKON's beautiful and distinct voices color Hanbin's songs and bring them to life. Hanbin trained the members since pre-debut. Now they are ready to stand on their own and can also produce while Hanbin will continue his path as an Executive Director. iKON is a very talented group. A special one tbh. It's not that iKON has no popularity. They are one of the top groups mainly known for their music. I think they are one of the few artists who truly care for the fans mental health. They don't encourage obsessive fans and don't put up a perfect boyfriend image instead they tell us to make ourselves a priority. Also since they are the most cost-effective group who don't need high budget from music production, styling to live bands for a great show, YG delegates them as a touring group focusing in Japan (2nd biggest music industry in the world). YG makes the most money there. iKON's improvisation, stage presence and independence is a double-edge sword. Because of BB's enlistment they needed to increase profit margin and the quick low investment high return non-stop tours in Japan by iKON allowed them that. I wish YG promote them more tho. YG was just happy with Hanbin making music for everyone in the company. 🤧 But iKON has a big fanbase in Japan and known internationally.

It's not that iKON has no popularity. They are one of the top groups mainly known for their music. I think they are one of the few artists who truly care for the fans mental health. They don't encourage obsessive fans and don't put up a perfect boyfriend image instead they tell us to make ourselves a priority. Also since they are the most cost-effective group who don't need high budget from music production, styling to live bands for a great show, YG delegates them as a touring group focusing in Japan (2nd biggest music industry in the world). YG makes the most money there. iKON's improvisation, stage presence and independence is a double-edge sword. Because of BB's enlistment they needed to increase profit margin and the quick low investment high return non-stop tours in Japan by iKON allowed them that. I wish YG promote them more tho. YG was just happy with Hanbin making music for everyone in the company. 🤧 But iKON has a big fanbase in Japan and known internationally.

When this song came out, I remember that I can't stop crying for hours not because I can relate to the song (lol, never been in love), but because the song is so beautiful. iKON's love songs are simple, depicting reality, never hating, always thankful, and promoting forgiveness and positivity.
