I have a 13 year old and know how special it is when they let you in on their most inner thoughts. How beautiful of your son to learn from his mistake and be so courageous to ask for a do-over. And how amazing for him to know he has parents that love him enough to give a do-over.
Your letter made me cry. You should be so proud of your son. What an intelligent young man. He will achieve much in life , especally when he admits his faults. Not all youths do......Hunkydory was introduced to me about three years ago by another online retailer. So I know their product quite well. LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely in love with the flurry of butterfly toppers!!! GORGEOUS and elegant!!! Can't wait to get some of them! Praying for good news for your mom!! If the power of prayers works she will be fine in no time! Funny story about Santa's bells! On December 30th in the evening our 3 year old granddaughter heard sleigh bells on tv and her eyes grew wide! She then told us she needed to go to bed because Santa was on the roof waiting to leave us presents! After she went to bed that night I found a little treat to wrap up for her and left it on her pillow. She woke up the next morning and saw the present as soon as she opened her eyes! She picked it up and brought it up on our bed and told me she didn't want to open it.When I asked her why she said that she wanted to save it for Aussie's friends since they live in the woods. Aussie is our dog and we told her that the coyotes howling are his friends so she wouldn't be scared. So adorable. We got a bag of dog food and took it out back of our property and left it for "Aussie's friends"! She then opened her treat! Hope you had a Merry Christmas and hope your New year is wonderfuL!
Stacey, his letter to Santa was showing him taking responsibility for his bad grades, finding the possible cause, making a plan for positive change, and believing it possible to do so.... I am completely flabbergasted! What a wonderful young man! You have done a wonderful job as a parent. Thank you for sharing that with us....oh and....You are not the only one who cries at commercials...
What 13 year old asks for a do-over and a blanket for Christmas? You're obviously doing something right and are raising an amazing human being. The happiest of new years, Stacey. May your family have much joy and happy experiences this year, including good health for all.
You and your hubby have done a really fabulous job raising your sons. You have every right to be proud and tears are OK. Shows you have a loving heart.
He's not even my son, but my heart warms for his sincerity. What a wonderful human being he must be to have come to the realization that blaming others wouldn't solve his school problems. He has taken a leap forward in his maturity. Yes, we learn so much from our kids. So sorry to hear that a second surgery is needed...so difficult to have to deal with such a serious life threatening issue. Courage and strength to both of you.
Love that you gave your son the do over. It's a huge burden for kids to carry thinking they have disappointed us. You made me cry. Love the product and congrats to the winners ♡
Enough already! I was going to craft all vacation, but instead I've watched all your youtubes. I revised my order lists everytime I watched a new video. Hi Stacey. First I want to say that your Mom and you are in my prayers. Next, I loved the letter that your son wrote. I totally agree, that took a lot of courage to write. Your son is the type of student I loved having in class. He is an amazing young man, and I know you're very proud of him. By the way, my father is also fighting cancer (and Agent Orange damage). His last treatment is on the same day as your mother's surgery, so I will be praying for both of them.

Stacy, Thank You!!. So much by reading the, "Do Over" letter. It take a strong mother to show and teach forgiveness. I feel your pain on what you are going through with your mother. Make every moment count. You are an amazing person. When I first saw you on video I thought you were a little goofy. But you have grown on me by leaps and bounds by being yourself. Don't ever change! Through your videos I have re-learned the art I once loved and glad that I am crafting with cards again. Thank you for your honesty and clear instructions. Sending you a virtual hug and prayers.
Wishing your mum only great things for 2016 and yes make 2016 your Mum's year....And for your son, what a wonderful gift he gave to you in what he wrote in that letter to Santa. One very, very brave young man, to say the things he did. In you making the certificate for him, he will always know that saying the truth helps you move forward, and to learn that any mistakes we may make should never hold us back from making things right. . So I am sending you a huge hug to say how you handled the letter to Santa was amazing... Happy New Year to you and all your family...Pat
They're both fabulous-but I am blown away and enthralled by the Butterfly Echo set! You have done such a wonderful job with your boys. At his age to own his mistakes and want to "do over"-just amazing-both of you.

What I wonderful way to spend a lonely hour on a Sunday night - visiting with Stacey! I feel refreshed and re-energized! I love Hunky Dory but sadly it is not available in South Africa - I think the exchange rate with the pound is just too high. Maybe one day I will be able to get to play with this deliciousness. Best wishes for your mom's operation. My hubby is going in for a prostate operation on the 12th of January. I do believe all will be well for both of them and that the Lord will keep them safe and bless them. May 2016 be a wonderful year for your family. Lovely words from your son. Everyone one of us needs to get and to give forgiveness.
I love Hunky Dory so much - their papercrafts are of such fine quality and value. Thanks for bringing this to us, Stacey. I'm so sorry about your mother but will pray for healing. Donna
You are so inspiring as a mom, daughter, wife and business woman. I feel sorry for all those who skip the beginning of these classes. The good thing is that they can have a "do over". I see your son as a young man stepping into manhood. God's blessings on him. I will pray for strength for you and your mom. I too am thanking and believing God for my healing of cancer. Happy New Year to the SMS family.
I have several Hunky Dory kits and love them. I have said a prayer for you, your Mom and your family. You have really had a trying time lately. God bless you.
They're both fabulous-but I am blown away and enthralled by the Butterfly

I am so sorry to hear that your Mom needs more surgery. It is difficult to go through these things. I will continue to pray for peace and strength to you and yours. Blessings are sometimes harder to see during trying times. Michael gave you a tremendous gift during a very difficult year.
You may be very proud of such a special letter to Santa. What a wonderful boy to have the insight and the strength to write it. Give him an extra hug from me. xxxxxx
