i love how body control can look so different depending on the style. Slim Boogie is a very controlled popper and Jr Maddripp is probably the most fitting krumper to battle that control, this was an excellent battle.
I got 2-1 slim, Jr. Madripp's last round might've been the best of the night to me, it's close between that one and Slim's first round, Slim's connects were CRAZY.

Slim boogie took that 2nd song and murdered it. It was a lot of times slim had beautiful combos that seems to go over everyone’s heads. His hat flow was cold and that behind the back combo throwing and bringing it back then through the legs into a wave combo. How can you not see his flow compared to how hard he is hitting and tricks or power moves
I really think a lot of people don’t really catch what Slim is doing and It kills me. His foundation is strong but he’s so beautifully unorthodox it’s a shame people miss It. He’s a very 3 dimensional dancer he doesn’t stick to strick patterns he creates his own and that’s what I love about him as a dancer
Jr Maddripp has great moves, but focuses more on showy finishings than on musicality and matching the track. With due respect, his second round was an absolute disaster. Slim does not impress too much with wow moves, but he's a much more refined dancer in that he follows the beat and synchronises very smoothly. Two dancers from different leagues.
Slim is pure musicality and rarely repeats moves that wows people because it looks good. Slim is a true freestyler imo. Also more artistic in the way he dances. He has the most patience I’ve seen in a dancer.
Jr Maddripp focuses more on showy finishes because that’s part of krump, slim doesn’t because he’s not a krumper. You can say you prefer one style over the other but it’s just brain dead to try to compare a different style based on the criteria of another. Appreciate the art and enjoy
@@kazkilla1 That's obvious, except that Jr. Maddipp looked bad in the 2nd round when he said that they should play the beat that Slim danced to first, because it was a beat that doesn't have marked bass, which is what the krump needs to mark poses, so It seemed very unmusical, literally it was seen that he was dancing to something else and not the rhythm that was playing
