@@naeemislam1105 I think there is a strong case to be made for that or if not that then at least a draw. it was razor close though so I can't call it a robbery. To be honest I think it all came down to the final round and Breidis clearly won it.

@@peternut358I don’t think that Briedis made him look bad because Usyk clearly won the fight but it was a much tougher fight for him than most he’s had.

Damn that was as a really close match literally the last round it was a draw by my calculations. Obviously this isn’t the whole fight so can’t make a call but by the looks of it this could have easily gone the other way or even a draw. Me personally it would have been a draw.

Pinnacle of the boxing. Briedis also would smash 98% of the heavyweight division, if he chose to go up after this fight(tournament). This was Usyk's last fight in the cruiserweight division, after that, he went up. Briedis remained in cruiserweight, and later would win the next Muhamed Aly trophy and was the king of the cruiserweights until the next great, young cruiserweight arrived.
Also, Briedis was fighting true heavyweight long before Usyk. It was hard for him to get noticed, so he accepted a fight in Chechenia against Charr(28-3). If the fight went the distance, Briedis would 100% lose by the judge's decision, because it was Kadyrov's corrupt tournament, and Charr was fighting as a fighter from Axmat. So he knocked him out cold in the 6th, one of the best knockouts I have seen.

The Breidis that fought Usyk would absolutely demolish Jai. Look at how he gave Usyk the hardest fight probably of his career. Usyk even says it. Jai is young and he will get better. Kudos to Breidis awesome boxer and with Uysk considering coming back to cruiser weight after Tyson rematch should be very interesting. He's got some good fights on - particularly a rematch against Breidis.

Even though Fury rocked Usyk and was winning after 8 rounds, it's crazy to think that still to this day Briedis was Usyk's toughest challenge.
I mean, the amount of questions he posed for Usyk was great. Battle until the end.

Yes. This was the most difficult fight for Usyk in his entire career. But he still won it. Especially in the end (in the last rounds, as always).
