His, let’s say “irritation” with South Africa and then the joke about the roads is extremely entertaining especially if this is your first video of his and you don’t know where he grew up is so funny.
not a whole lot of african countries have street coverage, the most coverage is in south africa, which is why you get it so often. the other ones that are covered are senegal, the gambia, ghana, nigeria, kenya, botswana, rwanda, and a slight bit in uganda (mainly just around kampala)
Number 1 was a spotted hyena, not a brown hyena. Even though it had darker coloration, it did have some faint spots, no stripes, and no "mane" or long fur, its head shape was also that of a spotted hyena as well as its ears, and it did not have that lighter colouration near the back and neck which alot of brown hyenas have. Number 2 is a guanaco I believe, not an alpaca, based on the colouration, the shorter fur, and the more thinner and taller build, almost like a camel. It can also be a vicuña, which is a relative of the alpaca, infact the same genus, although not the same species so I won't be counting it nonetheless. Number 3 was definitely not wildebeests but instead they were cape buffaloes, based on the stocky muscular build and horn shape. Number 4 was a species of monkey called the nunnemarkatta (Cercopithecus mona), this one I honestly don't blame you, they are not very well known by any means. Number 5 is indeed a herd of waterbuck, you got it right. Number 6 I believe is not a mule deer, but a female white-tailed deer- It has a reddish colouration and the face and body match a white-tailed so it's most likely a white-tailed. Allthough I could be wrong since they are similar species and can be confused. Number 7 is indeed a herd of impalas, you got that one right, allthough it's probably the easiest to get on the list. Number 8 looks like brown pelicans, allthough they are far away and it is difficult to tell, it does still match the same colouration, and I can see some juveniles in there too. Since you did not guess whatsoever, I'm not gonna count this one in the score. Number 9 are dromedary camels, which he did get right, so I'll count that, this was probably even easier if not just as easy as the impala one. Number 10 are yellowtail fusilier I believe, and right under them was indeed a yellow damselfish, which you got that right. As for the white and black striped fish to the left and down, I have no idea. I have been defeated. I searched for 2 hours for a fish that matches it, but I could not find the species, if anyone knows, for the love of god tell me what it is. This was by far the hardest one for sure. I could not identify it. Number 11 were indeed sally lightfoot crabs I believe, got that one right Forrest. Number 12 I have no idea, where even is the animal? If Forrest was referring to the so called "owl" above the sign then that doesn't make sense, as it's clearly just a tree branch that was cut. Number 13 are most likely plains zebra, maybe mountain zebra but I'm almost certain they're plains zebra. Number 14 are rhesus macaque I believe, and I'm gonna give this point to forrest since it's close enough. Number 15 was indeed a galapagos island tortoise, specifically of the pinzón subspecies, and he got it right. Number 16 is very hard to tell but is a western or eastern grey kangaroo, or maybe a female red kangaroo, it's hard to tell from that angle, I'm basing off of the colouration. Number 17 you can definitely see those are brown pelicans, there are multiple adults and juveniles. As for the cormorants, they're red-footed cormorants. As for the small black birds, I'm not sure whatsoever as they are too blurry to tell, anyone know what they are, let me know! Number 18 that's most likely an eastern gray kangaroo, and I'll give it to him, he got that one. Number 19 those are indeed koi fish and black swans, he got that right. There's also some mallard ducks, and as for the first duck shown, the one with a white head and brown body is a ruddy shelduck. Number 20 those are definitely guanacos. He got 13 out of 27 right, and since I'm sure he knows the ducks were mallards, that makes it 14 out of 27, just barely over half of them. THIS took me SO LONG to write and search for these animals and was quite exhausting but I did it for fun, please enjoy this. :)
number 16 was a western grey kangaroo. You can tell by the pale ear with the black stripe around it. Also the darker fur and body shape say it's not a red kangaroo.
