@@alexc2044 i did hear the author of the manga has slowly begun to work more on the manga again, i hear that the people who made the anime are waiting for the manga to either be almost done and or completely done so they could do seaaon 2. Plus, the people who made the anime of yona of the dawn, were also caught up and working on other animes such as Tokyo ghoul, which could also be a reason why yona of the dawn was "delayed"
I looooove that Yona is the one who made the first move.
Well, that was the only way the story was going to make sense. Hak believes Yona doesn't have feelings for him. He respects her too much so he would never actually kiss her on the lips without her consent or without confirmation that she feels the same for him.

I hadn't even heard of this anime/manga until a week ago then I watch the anime and read all 196 chapters and absolutely fell in love with the story. It's exactly the kind of story I love, fantasy adventure drama action and romance. Definitely one of my new favorites. And the opening music to season 1 is breathtaking, so beautiful to listen to and goes so well with the theme of the story.

It was a definite kiss. Hak freaks out over it and even got a little upset because he said he wasn't expecting her do to something like that since he doesn't believe she could have feelings for him. Yona also makes an excuse saying she was just "greeting" him...which is a ridiculous excuse, btw. And heck yeah Yona blushes. She blushes like crazy as she's leaving as quick as possible. When she gets into the carriage and they drive away, she's freaking out about what she did. She says she did it instinctively and didn't even think about it properly. She's worried about what Hak might say about it since she doesn't know yet at this point that he has feelings for her.

Quite different theme, but I find the chemistry in Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi(maybe you've already watched it) very good too, and the ML is also a striking dark haired dashing man, well, actually, oni. And the other male characters lowkey remind me of the dragons too XD

i love akatsuki no yona so much, it took me 3 days to finish both the manga and the anime geehee, i absolutely love the character development of yona and i also love the friendship that the four dragons ,yun , hak and yona have.
