- The Norway-registered Hengaw Organization for Human Rights said at least seven people were killed in Iran's Kurdish region on October 12.

@@MM-dm4xj The largest part of Kurdistan is "Rojava" northeast Syria and northern Iraq, followed by 5 % of Turkey in the east of Turkey and only a snippet of Iran in the west of Iran, I would say 5 % of Iran, max. The biggest problem with Iran and Turkey is that they won't give a single inch of land, back to the Kurds. They took this land when the English Empire divided Iraq and divided Kurdistan, ca 150 years ago, and if they give even 5 villages back they are afraid of looking weak, so they rather kill civilians because if they accept Kurdistan ? they are afraid of other countries claiming land and their own people demanding new leaders. The Kurdistan issue is 10 times larger than the problem of refusing land to IS. Both people should be given cities so there can be peace
