Means 'Little Jaguar' or 'Small Jaguar'. A type of small wild feline found in the jungles from Mexico all the way to South America.
Cheers mates!
these have to be the most beautiful guitars ive seen in a looooonnngggg time
Jim was a true Pioneer. Really nice that you were invited, and it's even better that he is going to be remembered for being such a Generous man.
Hag-war-eeyo, greetings from mexico, i'll go to the uk on april
I love these longer videos. Fender has really put out a lot of interesting stuff over the last few years, and its good to see more on these new models. Keep up the good work!
Hey Cappers, your voice just gets better and better
Every time you guys say pawn shop I can't help myself but lough :D
Love the red cup under the couch.
that 3 chord riff the afro man played was very tasty
I love the teleporting through cyberspace to Fretted Americana Chappers and Captain. LOL
Wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff!
If nothing else, this video series is a study in hair growth.
Keep up the good work fellas.
classic vibes are better then alot of Fenders
I don't know why, but when Rob makes serious faces while he plays, he reminds me so much the cartoon "Family Guy".
You are right! Pawn shop is for collectors!
The Fender DH-1 "Atomic" Humbucker is very high output, but it is smooth and lovely as well. They've been installing it on a ton of models recently including the Deluxe and some FSR MIM's....it's their modern high-output humbucker. It has a huge midrange to it.
Man that looked funny with the tiny mustang in the might big hands of Bea.
i dont live in england, im not planning to buy anything because i dont have money for it but i just love listening to chappers and the capt play great videos guys.
holy shit that teleportation was cool
I loved the teleportation :p
Is there any actual difference in the quality of materials used/construction in the Mexican Mustangs, as opposed to the MIJs, or is it just a matter of letters on the guitar?
Oh yeah, Brian May man.. I never realized the difference until I bought an old english sixpence from a local coin shop in Michigan (USA) and just love the sounds.. just takes a bit of getting used to that's all..
I love the Captains shirt.
@SagaMediaNet Yeah... August...
waited ages for this review!
the jaguarillo sounds perfect, needs more chrome, but it is perfect sound wise!
I bought the mustang a year ago.... It's great! I also have a cyclone 2. I think this jaguarillo is in the near future. I love these odd ball guitars and the 3 would look great together.
@Zeppelin211 Dude that was over three years ago, I've been exclusive to Andertons ever since.
It's not just coffee... It's a Fretted Americano!
teleportation changed their clothes too!
Marshall have said we can upload in Aug...
He was able to play notes more articulately with the stone pick. The plastic pick bends and thus is more sloppy, while the stone pick doesn't flex, which allows for cleaner transitions between strings. That's what I meant by "cleaner".
nice demo still faver the marauder after playing them all.
regards
Clive
p.s keep taking the tablets
Go ahead and put the longer neck on if you like!
That's pretty much what I was trying to put, yeah. You managed to write it phonetically better than I did
Can't take my eyes off the cherry cream and gold les in the back... One slipped through my fingers four years back...
Stonehenge, where the demons DWELL where the banshees live and they do live WELL.
One of my goals was to have an amp made with jim :( guess it will never happen rip Jim we love you
and those stone picks start at 25 quid a pop!
Stoneworks picks have a very subtle enhancement to the attack. It sounds as though it has a stronger note strike with a cleaner string release...
Oh look, how original.
Jaguarillo is pronounced differently depending on what accent you're looking at (South America or Spain).
South America: Hagareeyo
Spain: Xagareeyo (x as in the 'ch' in Gaelic Loch)
1 view on a Chappers video? I never thought that I'd see the day! Great subject, too!
Hi, nothing you do to the neck will make it sound any different, so no worries :)
WHEN IS THE JS MARSHALL VIDEO GOING UPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!! the suspense over it is killing me
Got the 2nd edition of mustang special. Made in mexico. Yep needed tweaking but truss rod is in a better place. U don't have to take the whole neck off. Also, pick up switch in bad area. My hand keeps hitting it downward. Still a nice guitar. Easy to play.
I can respect that!
I got the 2008 model of that wine red Les Paul at the right :)
i think the stone pick has a brighter top end. and it is easier to get harmonics with it.
Ha (as in HAmm)
Gua (as in GUAtemala)
ri (as in maRInes)
lyo (as in kings of LYOn)
The last bit depends on where you are since different countries pronounce the doble L differently.
Demo that Sea Foam Green Jem behind the Capt. Would be awesome ! :D
fender makes amazing guitars im more of a gibson person because to me fenders do make a very bright sound
Bea's random appearance makes that video :)
Damn, if I could afford that. And you are correct Chappers ;p
Rob's playing sounded a bit cleaner with the stone picks. That said, I think you could get a similar feel with a thicker Tortex pick (>1mm).
I love the Captains sneakers... I have the same ones ;o)
Hooteenie!!! ^^
Two L's in Spanish is a short Y sound, J in Spanish is a long Y sound.
In Spanish, Jaguarillo would be Yag-War-EE-Oh.
Good job Chappers with the spanish pronouncement of Jaguarillo. FYI= I'm Mexican.
The "J" on jaguar on spanish is like the "H" on how, but really harder.
i dont mind the neck on a fender i dont seem to find any problems on it maybe cause you have different opinion but i reckon sound matters most and fender have a really nice sound.
I feel really lucky to have gotten my suburst pawnshop mustang for like 500 and mint condition.
Dude everyone disklike you but you are sooo right!
massive like for 1080p50fps!
ABSOLUTLY
Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) uses old Pesos (Mexican coins) as picks.
Well if you can you should try and listen to them first to see which you prefer.
I would choose a stone pick, just because it's a million years more reliable ;) lol
awesomeness
WTF? I've never noticed Bea had such massive hands. It looks like hes playing a freakin shortscale for 7 year olds.
Depending on the accent, but I would pronounce the rolling 'r' (though softly). I've also never met a native who doesn't pronounce that 'illo' as a more 'idyo' type sound.
Here in SO CAL 59.3 miles from the Fender factory in Corona, We pronounce Jaguarillo..... "Del Taco"..... the j,g,u,r and i are silent. I guess you didn't pick up any Mexiglish when you were out here, so I thought I'd clear up the confusion on the proper pronuciation.
Chappers tuned that guitar in 2 seconds.... O.O
Captain and Chappers....Greetings from Pennsyltucky! (Pennsylvania)....lol Could you please review the new Roland GA-212 Combo Amp.....Thank you so much in advance.....You BOTH Rock!
the new gibson sg junior 60's. PLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSS. I'm thinking of buying one...........A comparison to the les paul junior would be awsome!!!!!!
Just a request... can you guys do bass reviews and get that cool pirate dude to do them? :D
Try raising the action on it :) It will probally be the string vibrating against the metal frets
less talk more playing!
WOW these British lads are not that dumb after all ,they can pronounce & throw in a couple of words & phrases in spanish in a funny decent way,I applaud them LoL !!!
Hahaha I kind of enjoy the reviews ,keep 'em coming guys !
The stone pick decreases the attack.
Cool videos guys!
.... in your opinion. The other 50 million guitarists that use Fender may disagree!
captn has an aerosmith shirt! hell yeah ! ^(A)^
This video reminded me... Why don't you get Dave to demo some Basses? I love guitars, but i started out with bass, and it kinda sucks they get left out :(
plus the offset special! cheers
Whatever happened to you doing demos of guitars and matchless amps from the other guitar shop?
i miss your old video intros
that stone pick sounds fucking amazing D:
jaguarillo "JA" is like "HA" like Hawaii, and "gua" is like "wa" like water, "HAWAREYO"
PD: i'm mexican, greetings.
You'd be right Chappers except you'd need a soft J at the beginning!!
Chappers when is the pawn shop offset special demo coming? Thanks
even in England, they make Mexican Jokes :D
this was uploaded just as I opened my notebook to do my homework... goodbye homework!
Hello there the seeker of monitors to please ears :o) I recommend the KRK's in that price range.
Stick
the stone picks seem like they cause less string noise
i love the teleport :)
Cheers dude! I'm no pirate playing bass beast but I'll tell you if they suck or not!
Stick
It plays really nice - lee as in nicely or nice - lee. I guess we’ll never know
@kaietchell Beloved art thou \m/
the only thing i dislike about my squier jag is that the trem doesnt lock... curse you Chappers... and your meddling hagaridyo too!
