Just a few things to add as well as I know players will be asking me about the following builds… Devastators vs Thunder - Thunders actually performed better and were more consistent in the games I played (they're also cheaper to upgrade) Ember vs Bane - Ember can work but they fire slowly. If I was dealing with a Fafnir in flight, Bane is the clear winner which is why I mentioned it Incinerators vs Avalanche - Avalanche has a bigger splash radius but also a faster reload which is why I favour Avalanche over Incinerators Avenger, Viper, Hornet - Their reloads were too long and you really notice it on smaller maps Prisma and Flux - While these can work on larger maps such as Canyon and Springfield, they aren't very practical. That is a LOT of silver to spend on a build that only works on a select few maps. If I was spending my silver upgrading a weapon, I rather spend it on a weapon that performs best on most maps. Question here, got two max igniters on fenrir, then w/c hvy wep would be better to go w/ it?, glacier or hel or bane? Could you give some advice on this before i upgrade, im currently using a mk1 lvl12 thunder thanks✌️👍
With this series I can turn every robot into a beast, thanks to Adrian’s commentary and advices. Also, the thunder build is the best for f2p, and I love that Adrian includes all sorts of builds(from cheap like thunders to top like hel)
I try to aim for what works - most think I focus only on new weapons. If it's a new weapon and it sucks I won't include it. This is why I didn't include Incinerators as Avalanche is clearly better.

@@anthonisoto8439 no, it’s shield actually makes it a lot more stronger than you think, even with just 2 fortier maybe even one is enough, you just need to make sure you don’t come out until you have successfully locked, suppressed and emp your enemy
Oh yeah thunder is become more good in 2021 because of (thunder orochi) im building Incinerator and Thunder brawling weapons since i don't have hel yet hope i win the erebus giveaway too.
It's better because they buffed it about 2-3 times. This is why I always tell players that Pixonic buffs older weapons and it's also why I don't care much for the nerfs as sooner or later there will be buffs.
@@Au_June My prediction is that it will go through more buffs/nerfs in the future. This game is always evolving so I expect all weapons to go through these phases. Way back when we had Gareth, Galahad and Lancelot, the Thunder received a massive buff where it did +200% more damage to physical shields - this was done to break up the shield meta a bit. We're seeing now why it works especially on builds like Orochi which can be used to counter Shells. If we start seeing more tanks with heavy resistance, the Thunder will feel "weaker" even though no stats are changed. This would be because the bots we're facing are now different. In this case if it does happen, the Thunder would most likely be buffed in damage or reload to help battle tanks with high resistance.
My two favorite Erebus builds are Avalanche and Redeemer. They both seem to do extremely well. With an already extremely strong aegis shield with crazy electrician and energy shield expert it's extremely difficult to get through that shield.

Adrian a few questions this time; 1. Do you think two orochis in my hangar are better than one orochi and a Fafnir? 2. I have a nuke amplifier, should I put it in my hawk or scorpion? 3. Is there a steadfast way to get on mild damage absorber shield chips?
@@rockskater102990 did you also see that hardly anyone was targeting him...did you also see that this is an edited video, which means that he selected a few good clips but it took him HOURS to get those clips...sniper bots just Don't do very well in brawling situations...

It’s no fenrir (which I also have) but it does just as good as let’s say a phantom with its ability active as far as taking dmg goes. I’ve tried all of these builds, but prefer to keep it a ranged bot as it’s ability is 800m and I don’t have any other range I use regularly. Plus lockdown and suppression etc with the hels is nice. It does work up close though, that can’t be ignored
Yeah I think between the two I actually prefer running Avalanche. Some maps it helps having that splash damage. However… if I know I'm going to run into a lot of Fafnirs I prefer running Hels.

@@varshangovender5841 i found that 2 hels can freeze Fafnir. Allowing the avalanche to have a better chance at hitting it. 3 hels or 2 hels/calamity are best but then you're limited on the other two meta bots. One avalanche can then damage Shell, when 3 hel struggle. And the avalanche can reach around corners to seriously injure Orochis.
@@te9591 Yeah no, totally couldn't agree any more than that, that's really well thought out and planned. You've thoroughly tested this out. Cause you've thought about every situation possible like with physical shields you need that "pop" damage, which the avalanche provides and with the guys that are really fast like fafnirs you've got the hel with pin point accuracy, plus it freezes then. What do you think of erebus shield vs the bulwark shield? I think the bulwark has a slightly more, but it seems the erebus chargers his shield faster, what do you think @Adrian
Bulwark has a stronger shield and also a physical shield, but the erebus definitely recharged faster and the bulwark only has 66% of the firepower of an erebus (2 heavy instead of 3 heavy weapons) plus erebus doesn’t have to turn its shield off to recharge like the bulwark.
I have 2 thunders and a glory. Waiting on another hel then I'll have 2 hels and a dragoon. I got the Daredevil skill so it's kind of hard to not remove it now since max tier it's almost 20 percent. I also have fortifier and if I get another one I'll probably use it. The shield is going to be insane.

Tarans and redeemers are some of the very few weapons I'll hesitate and be very cautious with my attack. I don't use many armored bots and directly challenging them without doing so is a very good way to lose your bot. Hels, snaers, skadis...same story. I'll do it but never blindly.

Hey dude i got a Erebus finally I'm trying to decide on either the avalanche build or 2 hells one calamity cus I only got 2 extra hells in storage lol which should I go with 🤔
I liked 2 hels one avalanche. Calamity and hels are also good but they can't threaten shells. In addition the Hels can fire faster against orochi while the clamamity will slow your lock down.
I got the deal for $11.99 twice and opened the boxes and got 5 hels, 4 prismas, an erebus, and the pilot. If yall haven't got that deal its pretty good.

You could use both. I think I actually had Nebula and Persephone drones so those I would need Advanced Repair. Usually when I use Advanced Repair with Nebula I don't use Mechanic or healing pilot skills as it really isn't necessary most times.
If I get one, I’ll run 3x redeemer with nuclear amplifier, fortifier and a last stand. I haven’t played the Erebus but I feel it’s a squishy bot like the Typhon and needs a bit of extra protection

I have not tried that build. I know the Havoc is very deadly to Revenants. If I was dealing with Revenants I would do Devastator-Havoc. If I was dealing with Fafnirs then I would run Calamity-Scourge. Hope this helps!

No but I'm pretty sure it won't be as effective in the current meta. We have a meta with many shields (Absorber and Aegis), bots with lots of health and high resistance (whether it be the bot itself like Fenrir or because of drone chips). All of these things negate that weapon - Avalanche is different because it reloads much faster and has higher splash radius.
Huh, well I already got 3 punchers, tho 1 needs a little more leveling, I just need to really need to upgrade my level 1 mk1 erebus I recently earned for free, I already got a mk2 typhoon woth mk2 razdors with river chase pilot, but an erebus to the hanger can't hurt too

I don't believe that is possible because the Carnage (if I remember correctly) only has one Passive Module slot. That means the most amount of Cloaking Units you can put on it is one.
Adrian I have an interesting question. Does the freeze effect increase damage from corrosion as well as the initial hit of weapons? Like will corrosion work better for frozen targets than normal?
I believe in this case it increases only the damage not the corrosion. For example if I had Banes and I used the Freezer chip on you, you will take on +20% more damage when you are frozen but it won't affect the damage of the corrosion itself - just the damage. Hope this makes sense.
I never knew Thunders we're good with Erebus. I hope I win Erebus giveaway, cuz my luck at this event is high (won meself 3 Hels and Jad Parkes). Devastator is also good on Erebus, Adrian, cuz Manni-Gaming played a set-up on his Erebus, and it's deadly as hell

thunder will never be nerfed cause of silver weapon other beginner players using it on lower league.

I run it with hornet, prisma and exodus. All three builds work great. Erebus is an universal bot, but i find it more fun when i snipe with it
Trebs, chimera, and Gauss work also very well! 👌

Avalanche Erebus is my favorite to play. Hel Erebus does more peak damage, great for using radar or SB and really reign in the damage.

i just got an erebus from the bronze crate, i got its new pilot just a few days ago, it didnt really feel too powerful so im watching this

How do Nuclear amplifiers behave if I use two and one is lvl 6 the other lvl 1? Do I still get maximum dmg + accumulation or is it averaged?
I had to find out myself. You get the max damage from the level 6 and the second one just helps to reach that max damage faster. Hope this helps!

Its squishy if they get past that shield, the shield is super tough, especially with fortifiers

I'd run a fortifier last stand and nuc amp. Mabye even 2 fortifiers. Erebus is squishy without the aiges shield so it needs to be very strong

Erebus is cool, and as a sniper. But you have proven to me that the Erebus can also be used as a brawler thanks to it's Aegis sheild and EMP.
It actually works best close to mid-range as the shield is pretty strong.
@@adrianchong I guess... right now I have 3 Calamaties. I'm saving up for a Calamity Behemoth but your comment has made me wonder if I should place these weapons on an Erebus that I might get in the future.

No but I'm pretty sure it won't be as effective in the current meta. We have a meta with many shields (Absorber and Aegis), bots with lots of health and high resistance (whether it be the bot itself like Fenrir or because of drone chips). All of these things negate that weapon - Avalanche is different because it reloads much faster and has higher splash radius.
I agree, I have 4 for the behemoth but never used them. I prefer flames and toxic weapons.

I already got a mk2 typhoon woth mk2 razdors with river chase pilot, but an erebus to the hanger can't hurt too

I don't believe that is possible because the Carnage (if I remember correctly) only has one Passive Module slot. That means the most amount of Cloaking Units you can put on it is one.

Your every build works because every thing on your bot is maxed out and opponents may also not have mk2 .
Adrian I have an interesting question. Does the freeze effect increase damage from corrosion as well as the initial hit of weapons? Like will corrosion work better for frozen targets than normal?
I believe in this case it increases only the damage not the corrosion. For example if I had Banes and I used the Freezer chip on you, you will take on +20% more damage when you are frozen but it won't affect the damage of the corrosion itself - just the damage. Hope this makes sense.

I never knew Thunders we're good with Erebus. I hope I win Erebus giveaway, cuz my luck at this event is high (won meself 3 Hels and Jad Parkes). Devastator is also good on Erebus, Adrian, cuz Manni-Gaming played a set-up on his Erebus, and it's deadly as hell

Avalanche is 1 of the most op weapon but the reload is fast and the ammo drain is ok not too fast
