It is only dangerous because the door remains open and you can fall into the elevator shaft.

At 1st I thought WTH? But then your current renter has a good job apparently so she can pay a reliable good rent, at your profit. So it makes sense you can be flexible for rn since you leave anyway for x months out the year. You’re making $$ for that luxury. If you can deal with your current temporary apt, then fine. Like you say, you’ve got a plan in your head to get good exercise and have outdoor amenities/ pleasantries. It’s not like you have to stay home inside all day, luckily you have car or can walk places. Convenient location. Enjoy.
Glo have your battery ob cayenne checked. All my shiton escalade started acting up, ended up being battery bc so much electronics run off it- needed full 800cca. May be why trunk acting up etc
Well, tbh I was going to poopoo your new home until you mentioned the price. For $350/month it's an ideal interim place until you decide your next move. I'd live in a place like that (being single) if it was handy to the things I need. It's the kind of place I'd buy (at the right price, of course) and renovate because it could be made really, really nice with a makeover and being so small, it wouldn't take a lot of work. Only thing missing is a garage. Here's hoping your neighbours don't play in the local punk-rock band.
Johnny, I know its smart renting out your home in Kyiv. With the money you get from renting out your home, you can live anywhere in the world with much better looking place. I suggest you go back to Thailand and move there. Thailand weather is amazing, food is great and cheaper places are easier to find near a nice beach. Sell your Porsche and move back to Thailand because to he honest this part of Kyiv is quite depressing.
You’re a decent guy Johnny, I hope it works out for you. Like others have said, be happy you can do this and be flexible and you don’t have to worry about money like some people do. It’s kind of a transitional period which can be rewarding in a way. If you had to live there with barely any money, it would be tough. However, you are doing it as it makes sense short term.
If you miss your apartment in central Kyiv so much, why don't you move back after the tenant leaves? I don't know if you signed a contract for a certain amount of time or if it's on a month-to-month basis.
Hello again.. You said in previous video that you have rent your apartment to a diplomat? Am I right? So you move out from your own house for short time period of time and not forever.. right ? I got the answer at 24:33 thanks !

@@toddmetzgeryeah we know, the soviet union was a slave state and post soviet countries are poor, but why would you chose to live in such conditions if you didn't have to?
@@pjl8119 Far from a slave state, yet even today the concrete construction generally holds well enough. And even Johnny implies he is trying to live within a certain budget. You pay a good chunk more cash, but really only get 1 extra room, maybe a few amenities that a bachelor doesn't need.
I would've done the same thing too. Like you, I prefer the flexibility and freedom. The only thing I would change is your car. It's costs too much to maintain and it's so finicky. Considering your lifestyle, it's just not a good match. I'd sell it and opt for a Toyota, Honda or a Subaru.
I've lived in a place like that, in Riga, and there is something charming about it. You'll have some kind of nostalgic feeling once you leave Johnny. So enjoy it!! 🙂
I've seen nicer prison cells. In the Soviet Union people had no choice because they lived under a brutal tyranny. But in 2024 it's sad people still have to live in them.
This will give him the base he needs to work from. Property is still expensive, even during the war. Now he can move about and find an area to grow roots.

They got some nice cars their in Gopnik town, should be an interesting experience. :-P I have a feeling youre gonna have some great material this month Johnny. Looking forward to it.

Regarding India and Asia in general. China often uses Russian narratives and, in my opinion, influences information in Asian countries, so most citizens of Asian countries have a distorted vision of reality in Ukraine, they do not know about Russian atrocities and therefore often support Russia. For example, I will say that China has never said that Russia is an aggressor, and the attack on Ukraine is called the "Ukrainian crisis". They do not call an attack an attack and all this distorts reality.
Johnny, you made it! The place is adequate and it will give you a chance to figure out your next step. The view from the balcony is nice. Not sure why they choose dark colors that make the place look smaller.
I would do the same. Live in a smaller apartment for less money and let my good renter who pays on time. Stay in the nicer apartment and earn extra money. I think it makes perfect sense.
Personally, I won't live in that apartment. It seems to run down and dirty. The apartment is not that great either. May be I used to live in America for so long. Good luck to your new apartment and stay safe!
This is typical Soviet style accommodation. Absolutely beautiful. I lived in the same style in Uzbekistan and yes it might seem crap but its how you you like the Soviet culture
I'm from Poland and if I had to live in such a building I would be crying all day everyday. I've had no idea a building or an apartment can be in such a bad state. And If I owned it, I wouldn't rent it to anyone before it gets renovated... I would literally be ashamed to put something like this online.
They had far lower standards in the soviet union because the citizens were essentially prisoners for 70 years and would be killed by their government of psycho dictators for daring to want to live better. They had no option but to try and make the best of the terrible conditions the gang of ruling thugs made them live in.

When you stated tank in Kyiv and I was like that tank that ran out the guy but thanks god he is alive. CD does not work due that you created it not as audio cd, so tracks are unreadable. Check on breathing - you are in Ukraine, so should be an extra weight - lose it. I was watching 24 cameras of Kyiv on 16K UHD video resolution - so technology I am also under emotional distress like every Ukrainian. I was talking to Cosmos about all people I know in Ukraine for 6 days and I hope they will be ok.
You need to meet somebody like me and when I will visit my lovely Kyiv - I am also must to visit one ye Marine from Mariupol beside my relatives that I am very stressing about.
Thanks Johny, I was meditating for 6 days and gotta get out of this state. 6 days I was thinking about Ukraine. Thanks for protecting Ukraine when it is started. When I will visit Kyiv - I want to me you.
Thanks Johny for sharing and you are a hero. Slava Ukraini! Lose 20 lbs on good food and eat less. Good luck Johny.
I think you can find this kind of place for less than 350/mo in Kyiv, I think at least 100-150 less if you found the apartment through locals.
May be why trunk acting up etc
damn so many negative comments and it seems johnny reads all of them. being a youtuber is definitely not a good thing for mental health.
Oh, it's terrible. 😅
@@JohnnyFDhang in there Johnny man, you got a lot of people who care about you and love your videos…you never know what tomorrow may bring :)
For that price I would rent that place for a month for sure.
Imagine those people who are famous or more noticeable. Those people have mental health issues due to not being in control of the happy days.
That place scares me! Thailand apts are the Ritz! Stay safe and I look forward to your new adventures...
Gotta be honest I'd be on my way back to Thailand until that girl moves out...I know your trying to stay positive but that's depressing
Did you sale your flat or are you still only renting it out?
Johnny, I know its smart renting out your home in Kyiv. With the money you get from renting out your home, you can live anywhere in the world with much better looking place. I suggest you go back to Thailand and move there. Thailand weather is amazing, food is great and cheaper places are easier to find near a nice beach. Sell your Porsche and move back to Thailand because to he honest this part of Kyiv is quite depressing.
The view from your balcony is so green it's lovely. An Airbnb makes sense as a way to try a new area or way of living is just wise.
I’ve been wondering about you! The last one that popped up on my feed was when you were leaving Ukraine when the war started.
Thanks! Make sure you subscribe and turn on notifications if you don't wanna miss future videos. =)
I have a cleaner as well, she is very nice, but your interaction with yours is the best Iv'e seen. I If i gave Justyna a hug she would have been shocked😅
😄
I had a few years ago a weird car radio that only worked with burned CDs marked as compatible with music CD players. A Staples computer CD-R disc worked just fine in a computer, but the car did not wanted to cooperate. With the special disc, it was fine. Strange things...
I got chills seeing the odd lyno tiles patch's on the floor" the shining "dark hallway complete with faulty light flickering are you winding us up johnny 😮 hope it's a short stay thatsjust creepy 😢
This is what many people in post soviet cities live with.
I would have to put new bulb in there.
Very enjoyable. Keep 'em coming, and thanks.
The decisions, plans and goals laid out today sound excellent Johhny!
Never forget, the ride is always the best part of the adventure, you got this!
Buy a datcha and spend the summer renovating it
This will give him the base he needs to work from. Property is still expensive, even during the war. Now he can move about and find an area to grow roots.
@Johnny FD in Odesa situation more better then in Kharkiv. The main problem of Odesa it's electrycity.
l used to live right next to the lake in Obolan....I really liked that area OMG! I missssss it sooo much man.... I really want to go back ....when can this stop fuckkkkkkk
Are you able to leave Ukraine after the elimination of “residence abroad” exception to dual citizenship on June 1?
i´m not sure about this for Porsche, but in some older Audis with standard equipped cd changer and navigation, the cd slot on the Headunit just works for navigation cds
Oh, that makes sense, even though that's a stupid design. . 🤣
This would be my dream soviet apartment i love the old school green :)
Fantastic Champion! The old soviet style reminds me so much of Kazakhstan when I travelled there! Green paint must be a real style! White paint was often used for graffiti! Wow, the Mongolian warrior that nobody will notice!🫡 Love your adventures! You’d be a hoot to be with! Infectious laughter & spirits. Just got a dodgy expensive car!
All the best!
"Oh it's really luxurious" open door to dark long hallways with a creepy flashing light ....
😅
Thanks for uploading Johnny, nice to see the old soviet apartments. I like watching your Ukrainian videos.
Glad you like them!
@@JohnnyFD your a good man Johnny Stay safe
Much Appreciated for showing me the url for this video
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Welcome back to the channel!
Is it Yordanskaya 28B ?
Are you stalking me?
@@JohnnyFD No, absolutely. Just old pleasant summer memories with these courtyards =)
These colours in this apartment omg...
Must be Breshnevka, Krutchovka only have 5 floors and no elevator.
Yes, I think you might be right. a concrete apartment building that was built in the Soviet Union from 1964-1980 under the leadership of Leonid Brezhnev,
Your washing machines in the middle of the kitchen floor! Do you need to drag it to the sink and connect water pipe to tap to use it?
It's connected. =)
Johnny, what the fuck are you getting yourself into? Wasn't Thailand a better option?
Yes, in every way, but Thailand isn't home.
@@JohnnyFD I understand that, but technically it's not home home. It's only half home if it's not your place.
@@JohnnyFD UKRAINE cant win without your Videos!
@@purplebuckwheatit's russia that got 40 million Ukrainians into this shit. Russians need to leave, not Johnny

dude jah knows You taking HIts going LEGIT AF thru this WAR ...takes mighty Mindfulness of STEEL STAY SUPERMAN STRONG LONG Live Long and PRosper !
They got some nice cars their in Gopnik town, should be an interesting experience. :-P
I have a feeling youre gonna have some great material this month Johnny. Looking forward to it.
Definitely go out and visit park Natalka. One of the nicest parks in the city, close to the river and enough room for any activities. As well as bunch of places to grab food or coffee
Again i asking you to do a colab with veta the widow from Kiev, you would be good moral support for her bri, counting the days JD, God bless i can hardly wait, hope your glad to be back home, wish i could visit you, maybe after the war God bless Ukraine 😂😊😢
Thank you for informing us.
I agree you are young, no kids why have a place to live in that is a palace. You seem to be out always so I see how it makes sense. Good luck in your new home!
Good luck mate..all the best.
This 350$ dollars?? What, that is so expensive, in Split center, Croatia I pay 400$ for nicer apartment....
Not sure why they choose dark colors that make the place look smaller.
were you able to service ur car?
I would do the same. Live in a smaller apartment for less money and let my good renter who pays on time. Stay in the nicer apartment and earn extra money. I think it makes perfect sense.
Johny, I am not on Instagram, so cannot contact you there. Are meeting the followers tomorrow, Sat, June 8? Let me know if I can join, please.
Yes, but you need the address, and it's not public. So you need to DM me on IG, Facebook, or Twitter.
@@JohnnyFD messaged you on the FB.
@@youlol7331 the weird thing is. This is normal in the Soviet states
They had far lower standards in the soviet union because the citizens were essentially prisoners for 70 years and would be killed by their government of psycho dictators for daring to want to live better. They had no option but to try and make the best of the terrible conditions the gang of ruling thugs made them live in.
@@anthonyorme It's sad to see that not much has changed in those countries.
350$ is expensive for this one
Johnny, what's up with electricity in that place? Yesterday we had it off and on.
I had it for 2 hours yesterday. 😅
Nice tour of your new place. I would give it a 3.6 not great not terrible.
Out of 10? 😅
@@JohnnyFD Nah its a HBO Chernobyl meme (BTW a must watch)
I would say out of 5 a 3.6 is is fair.
Cuz you have an elevator & a balcony with a decent view & its still in the capital.
Damn JFD that place is small. But for 350 per month how can you go wrong, and it's only a place holder for the time being. While not exactly a panty dropper, any young beauty willing to snuggle up with you in that joint, is there for the right reasons. Good luck with it.
