    Ingredients
    1.Mangos 5 cups
    2. sesame/ground nut oil 1.25 cup
    3. Chilli powder 1 cup
    4. Mustard seeds powder 1 cup
    5 salt 1/2 cup / or
    Rock salt powder 3/4 cup
    6.1 Tbsp Methi seeds / 1 tsp Methi seeds powder
    7. Garlic 8-10
    recipe
    1. 1 dry bowl add 5 cup mangos and pour half oil and mix. keep it aside.
    2. Another dry bowl add 1 cup chilli powder,1 cup Mustard seeds powder,3/4 cup rock salt powder
    1 tbsp Methi seeds, 10 garlic pods.
    3. All mix together.
    4. Add chilli powder mix into the mangos in batches. Sure it will be mix properly.
    5. Add the remaining oil and mix it well and keep the lid, leave it for at least 24 hours .
    6. After 24 hours check the salt and enjoy the aavakay/ mango pickle.
    Tips.
    For storage:: Never use steel vessel or bowls for pickles .
    Please don't add chopped garlic pieces for long term pickles. if you want add complete pod.
    Firstly add oil for mango pieces . It will help , mangos to stay hard for longer time. Otherwise mango pieces will become soft after some days.
