I understand him as well... he try to share his feelings and his world with others but the society is to blind and to selfish.... no one try to open his mind for an other one...
I find that a bit ridiculous... people don't know his intentions when he comes up and randomly tries to put his headphones on them without saying a word. It's not crazy to feel threatened by that.

Society has implicit communication codes and rules created after decades or centuries of practice, with real or imaginary reasons behind them, created by a shared history. Imagine this guy wearing a Swastika tshirt just cuz he likes the design, not knowing what's behind it. It's everyone's responsibility to try to understand the rules of the society we are in.
I agree with you. And this world lacks spontaneity. All the feeling must be controlled, hide... If you feel to intensely, that's too much, and if you show nothing, that's not enouth... We can't be who we really are..

Hier steckt soviel drin. Also erstmal ist es eine wirklich authentische, kleine Geschichte, die der Film erzählt. Und ich mag die vielen Messages und Eindrücke/Gefühle, die er für mich rüber bringt. Der Film macht auf viele wichtige Themen aufmerksam.
Die Ideen die dahinter stehen, gefallen mir unglaublich gut. Das Video macht diesen Song für mich so richtig lebendig. So gelingt ein besonderer Einstieg in diesen Song, und man erinnert sich, wenn man ihn weitere Male hört. Ich denke der Song hätte keine so große Wirkung auf mich gehabt, ohne das dazu perfekt passende Video. Ich habe ehrlich gesagt lange nicht mehr sowas gutes gesehen.
Es ist in dieser Musikindustrie auch nicht zu erwarten und so ein Musikvideo ist da eher unüblich- das hat mich sehr überrascht und auch irgendwie berührt. Dadurch das ich voll drin war, war ich auch in dem Moment geschockt, als sie die Hauptfigur im Diner zusammengetreten wird und Blut fließt. Hier steckt sehr viel Gesellschaftskritik drin und dennoch wertet der Film nicht zu sehr oder macht zu sehr auf Happy End- es ist genial gescriptet.
Ich hab hier ein Gefühl zu der tollen Musik- sie kommt so voll bei mir an. Und ich bin dankbar für den Moment des Erlebens. Und das ich in diesen Zeiten der kommerzialisierten Musik noch so positiv überrascht werde. Das hier ist was ganz besonderes und ich bin froh dabei sein zu dürfen. Danke Paul und Team :-)
Du triffst den nagel auf den kopf und ja, ohne video würde der song nicht so gut wirken, doch wenn man es einmal kennt... gut, dass es ein video gibt, auch sehr untypisch für Paul

A big RESPECT to the Actor of Florian, Erik Gersovitz, and the Director of this Video. Really great. And of course a great tune, too. The comments speak for themselfes and for the amazing authentic acting ;)
Florian is an unusual character, a young man, isolated and on the verge of being autistic, who simply wants to share and spread happiness. He doesn’t play by the rules of modern urban society because he lives in his own detached world. And despite his good intentions he keeps overstepping boundaries causing friction and rejection. At its heart this is the story about conflicting energies and colliding mind sets, which creates the dark undertone in the trilogy. Florian wants the whole world to be happy - but the world is not ready for him.

as a matter of fact you do. it's a developmental disorder that generally shows signs in the very young, but can happen much later. as far as being a metaphor, i've only seen the 3rd and final vid so far but the youngster absolutely exhibits autistic behaviors.

Das Video zeigt wie gefangen und ängstlich die Menschen in unserem System geworden sind. Die meisten haben sich selber in ihrem goldenen Käfig eingesperrt. Sie reagieren mit Unverständnis, Hass und Gewalt weil ihr Horizont zu eingeschränkt ist und sie nur das sehen, was sie sehen wollen. Es ist traurig zu sehen wie tief die Menschheit gesunken ist.
Deshalb ist es wichtig immer mit gutem Beispiel voranzugehen und den Menschen zeigen was man mit Liebe und Verständnis erreichen kann.

Nah I watched the rest and it does not get better at all. The dude tried reality with too much optimism and got rejected, which makes him angry at first, so he decides to use a large dose of drugs.
He lives the life he wants in his dreams but he's going to be arrested by the police, probably for using drugs.
I don't see hopefulness, I only see despair.

It's a pretty unrealistic and binary vision of things to me, but it does its job, which is to convey the idea that making music is hard I guess ?

auch das muss man erstmal so hinbekommen. Im 3. teil ist ein Jefferson Airplane song. Aber auch der passt wunderbar.

***** I love Paul's music, but I totally disagree with the message of the video. The boy tries to put his headphones on other people's heads thereby trying to impose his music on others without asking them in advance. If he wants to share his music, he needs to ask people politely if they want to listen to an awesome track, not use force. Instead they beat the shit out of him, which is only a natural and understandable reaction.
