My question is why. Why do you want the horse to keep their nose in between their shoulders? What's the reasoning behind it? It just seems like a whole lot of micromanaging to me. Always wanting the horse to be in a certain place, at a certain distance, with a certain posture, etc.

If I’m understanding what the guy in the video means by that correctly, it’s so that the horse stays centered. This will make it easier for him to carry himself, look better, etc. etc.

Rae L . I can kind of understand that. And I would make sense physically to always want a horse in correct position. But it doesn’t make sense mentally. The’re not brainless puppets.

Lucas A I don’t think he meant it as them being blindness puppets ahaha, more or so just learning to carry themselves. It was a demonstration so he’s showing what to look for.

I think it’s just establishing the work he’s doing and that he’s the leader of the pack. I’m sure he’s not always like this, just during training. I didn’t really see anything wrong with this.

Josh D . There’s not anything wrong with it. But I feel like alot of horses would get sick of you if trained them like this. How do you create a willing and positive mindset in a horse if you’re micromanaging every little thing they do?

Saddle looks like it's over her shoulder blade. Does the Wade tree allow for that?
