I know because i volunteer my son and I 30 hours a month....so i know. But, I guess it's just the humanitarian in me reaching out. Terrible damage. Looking at Nicaragua now after hurricane Iota it looks even worse down there. Iota tore the dead from their graves. Imagine that.....you have a mother or beloved family/friend who has been buried long ago. And they are just gone. Blown right out of the ground. Still, officially worst storm ever was Dorian in the Bahamas. 185 miles per hour winds for nearly two days. But Iota seems to leave as much damage somehow at 160 miles per hour. Total devastation. I'm really wondering if they will recalculate Iota and find some stronger gusts to have happened. Given the destruction that would almost have to be the case. There is just nothing left down there. Wiped off the map.
The rest of the Caribbean has to suffer. The US government will not even consider your plight. USA is not obligated to help all these islands affected by the hurricanes. Trump is shitting on Puerto Rico right now, as we all know, is a US territory. He wants them to ‘help themselves’. I don’t expect his compassion on other ‘non US territory islands.’
UK should give them help with the massive foreign aid budget. They are a commonwealth realm country, with the queen as head of state. They should have stayed in the UK like neighboring British overseas islands, then maybe UK would rebuild the island for them completely.
