This guy's basing his point off of old DBZ fusion logic. All this shit was thrown out the window the second Vegito came into DBS. Potara and Metamoran are now both equal in strength. I believe the only difference is maybe time limit but I'm not sure.

Potara will still give off the purely strongest fusion, but it relies in the earrings magic and it can be consumed in more or less 5 minutes by Vegeto. The dance results in a slightly weaker fusion, but it's traits make for a more effective fighter (in the case of Gogeta) and it will last 30 minutes every time no matter the users. I don't remember where I got that, but that is essentially the difference. Gogeta is the better fusion just based in the ease of access and reliability.
Both fusions give a power boost on top of combining their power level however the earrings are meant for kais not mortals so when mortals use them they get a time limit and like half the power boost the earrings should give them

merged zamasu was a unstable fusion because one half was immortal and the other wasen't and goku black died in the fusion,goku black was far stronger than zamasu and at the start the fusion was completely stable,TLDR power level difference only effects dance/metamorian,one can be in ssb and the other in base and the fusion would be fine in potara@@alteaxz

That's not what is meant by an unbalanced fusion, he was saying that the fusion would be Gohan dominated because the fusion is unbalanced in Gohan's favor, the problem with this is the fact that full power Gohan is generally THE most arrogant character in the series and tends to lose to opponents because of this, Vegito just wins because it's a better balance between Vegeta and Goku's best qualities, and even that form has arrogance problems that could have led to losses at multiple points if his power wasn't as high as it was.

An existing gap in power does not diminish the potential strength of a fusion with the Potara earrings. That’s the metamoran fusion’s problem. Unlike the fusion dance, the Potara earrings don’t need the users to be roughly the same power to fuse properly and can instead fully utilize the strength of the fusees

Their power is combined regardless. Even Kale, who if far more stronger than Caulifla due to Legendary Super Saiyan were able to still fuse with potara.

Goku was training in other world without a body (better recovery and energy) and had access to all of the other world fighters to train and King Kai as a teacher. Goku is always looking to train and has shown numerous times that he utilizes his time training better than Vegeta. Since the saiyan saga Vegeta has always been playing catch up to Goku.
You said it yourself: Vegeta is mad at Goku because he held back SSJ3. In that Form Goku obviously is stronger. But for the fusions it matters in what form you fuse in. So the base form matters. I'd still say base Goku is stronger than base Vegeta but he is not that far above him. The transformations are basically just multipliers of the previous forms. So if SSJ2 Vegeta and SSJ2 Goku are the same strenght, they also have the same strength in base form. The only thing I know is that SSJ2 Goku is weaker than SSJ2 Majin Vegeta. So it really depents on how big the Majin Boost is. I don't think the Majin boost is that big. But it is big enough for Vegeta to surpass Goku in SSJ2. Maybe I am wrong and the Majin Boost is huge. I am just saying that is pretty much what you have to base your argument on and not on Goku SSJ3.

i was just making up a fun brain exercise for theory. but my position was aware the fusions are not the same scaling. fusion dance requires power levels to be brought down to the lower users, and uses those power levels at point of finger touch as the base for the scaling. potara must just have a different standard so i was just having fun thinking about it

But what was shown in the broly movie, base Gogeta is stronger than two super sayain blues and his Ssj state was beating up brolys and blue Gogeta was just wrecking lssj broly without even trying. Okay, but imagine Gokhan using his Potential Unleashed form. It'd draw ALL of Gokhan's latent potential and just completely shatter the bounds we've known.
Except only one side can enter that state since Gohan can't go super Saiyan while like that, meaning the fusion might have similar problems, it's entirely possible that the Gohan side would be limited to Super Saiyan only since that is what Goku can achieve. A good example to this is how fused Zamasu never went Rose despite finding himself on the losing end at various points, bringing into question whether he even could since it made no sense to hold back (this issue is furthered by the fusion falling apart because an immortal body and a mortal body are incompatible.)

Do you really think that Vegito cant go Ssj3 because vegeta never learned how? Or better yet only the Goku side goes ssj3 and we end up with ssj2.5 😂 And the Zamas example can be explained in a multitude of different ways but heres a few that immediately come to mind 1. I think its pretty obvious looking at merged Zamas that hes using a unique power that combines Zamasu's energy and Black's Rose (the hair and the fact that black fused while in rose should be a dead givaway as fusions from while transformed keep their transformed state in the fusion) 2. Have you seen Corrupted Zamas's Aura, Its literally Rose aura but slightly darker 3. Zamas's fusion is strange in many different ways some of which you mentioned, its a fusion between fully different races (saiyan and a kai) that actually fights for extended amounts of time, its technically the same mind so there is no dominant personality and is instead just one consciousness, and one of the parts was immortal while the other wasn't. Its impossible to take anything Zamasu does or doesn't do as evidence for Vegito or a hypothetical Gokhan because of the alarming amount of additonal variables that wouldnt apply when talking about other fusions So no a Gokhan would absolutely be able to use Ultimate/Mystic

Potara fusion gives 0 fucks about who it’s fusing. Just takes their power adds it and multiplies it. Metamoran fusion someone needs to equal to the lower lvl to initiate the fusion, no where does it ever say the power is then loss. Why ppl think that is beyond me. These characters are able to fluctuate their power when ever they want. So if someone is a 10 and someone else is a 5, yes the 10 has to lower to the 5 but then can just power back up because he has the potential of 10 + the multiplier. Equation When X+r= Y then X+Y = Z then Z(50) = P X = Fighter 1 lowering their power Y = Fighter 2 with weaker power R = remainder of power for fighter 1 Z = fighter 1/2 combined P = fighter 1/2 Full power. Numbers don’t matter in this case because they don’t exist in the world of Dragonball to quantify power. Potara uses a similar method they just need to remove the need to equalize. I like to think that while Potara produces a theoretically stronger fighter, it can only stably handle so much, as we saw Vegito Blue defuse upon putting out more power.
If you compare dbs future saga vegito vs dbs broly gogeta maybe they are equal in power lvl but the difference in time is due to blue vegito not having acces to perfected ssb wich saves a lot of energy and thats what made vegito defuse. If you compared an hipotetical dbs broly gogeta vs dbs broly vegito would still be stronger just because of the rivalry bonus stuff

The Potara fusion is power level x power level. Mr Satan has a power level of anywhere from tens to hundreds. Assuming 50 then Gokul just has to go SSJ2 and he can match Super Buu (~5'000). So fusion with Mr Satan is not a bad option.
Think of it like it like a math problem, gogeta is 2 + 2 like it was stated for the fusion dance to work they need to be at even power levels, however for vegito it’s more of a 5 + 4 situation since u don’t have to have equal power levels therefore it automatically makes vegito stronger bc u can Js mix any power levels together if trunks and goten had a potara fusion that one would be stronger than gotenks bc it doesn’t need to even out their power levels

1 major issue. Potara ignores power levels, and brings the best outcome of combining the 2 users. This has been said multiple times. Kinda like A x B = C Fusion Dance, requires both users to be on almost equal terms, thus requiring the highest user to lower his KI around the other user. This is limit. The only thing known about the power of fusion is Metamoru as well as Potara. The result of the fusion would be much more powerful than the maximum power of the individual warriors. Giving you, for example, that in the Buu saga, Vegetto Base is much more powerful than Goku ssj3 and Vegeta ssj2. In the Future Trunks saga, Base Vegetto is much more powerful than Goku Blue Kaioken x10 and Vegeta Blue In the Broly movie, Gogeta would NOT be as powerful as Ultra Instinct because Goku did not master the form. But in the current manga. Gogeta and Vegetto Base would be MUCH more powerful than Goku U.I and Vegeta U.E.
I've never heard of Potarra fusion having an energy balance requirement. Only the Fusion Dance has ever had that requirement and it wasn't based on energy potential but rather the energy output/level being roughly equal between both participants at the time of the fusion.
Yeah it never made sense to me why the fusion dance would be stronger or equal to the potara fusion but, that's what the writers for DBS Broly movie stated...
the balance for the fusion is only a requirement for the dance of fusion (they have to be at the same power level when performing it) since the potara doesn't have that requirement the difference of power between the individuals is what will make the potara fusion always stronger than the dance fusion

Please correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that’s not how the potara fusion works. Fusion dance requires both to be exactly or about the same power while the potara is suppose to add both power levels and then multiply then. This is also why Goku played with the possibility of fusing with Hurcule or Dendai in the buu saga before Vageta showed up.

Goku was training in other world without a body (better recovery and energy) and had access to all of the other world fighters to train and King Kai as a teacher. Goku is always looking to train and has shown numerous times that he utilizes his time training better than Vegeta. Since the saiyan saga Vegeta has always been playing catch up to Goku.
You said it yourself: Vegeta is mad at Goku because he held back SSJ3. In that Form Goku obviously is stronger. But for the fusions it matters in what form you fuse in. So the base form matters. I'd still say base Goku is stronger than base Vegeta but he is not that far above him. The transformations are basically just multipliers of the previous forms. So if SSJ2 Vegeta and SSJ2 Goku are the same strenght, they also have the same strength in base form.
The only thing I know is that SSJ2 Goku is weaker than SSJ2 Majin Vegeta. So it really depents on how big the Majin Boost is. I don't think the Majin boost is that big. But it is big enough for Vegeta to surpass Goku in SSJ2. Maybe I am wrong and the Majin Boost is huge. I am just saying that is pretty much what you have to base your argument on and not on Goku SSJ3.

Except only one side can enter that state since Gohan can't go super Saiyan while like that, meaning the fusion might have similar problems, it's entirely possible that the Gohan side would be limited to Super Saiyan only since that is what Goku can achieve. A good example to this is how fused Zamasu never went Rose despite finding himself on the losing end at various points, bringing into question whether he even could since it made no sense to hold back (this issue is furthered by the fusion falling apart because an immortal body and a mortal body are incompatible.)

1. I think its pretty obvious looking at merged Zamas that hes using a unique power that combines Zamasu's energy and Black's Rose (the hair and the fact that black fused while in rose should be a dead givaway as fusions from while transformed keep their transformed state in the fusion)
2. Have you seen Corrupted Zamas's Aura, Its literally Rose aura but slightly darker
3. Zamas's fusion is strange in many different ways some of which you mentioned, its a fusion between fully different races (saiyan and a kai) that actually fights for extended amounts of time, its technically the same mind so there is no dominant personality and is instead just one consciousness, and one of the parts was immortal while the other wasn't. Its impossible to take anything Zamasu does or doesn't do as evidence for Vegito or a hypothetical Gokhan because of the alarming amount of additonal variables that wouldnt apply when talking about other fusions
So no a Gokhan would absolutely be able to use Ultimate/Mystic

These characters are able to fluctuate their power when ever they want. So if someone is a 10 and someone else is a 5, yes the 10 has to lower to the 5 but then can just power back up because he has the potential of 10 + the multiplier.

I've never heard of Potarra fusion having an energy balance requirement. Only the Fusion Dance has ever had that requirement and it wasn't based on energy potential but rather the energy output/level being roughly equal between both participants at the time of the fusion.

Fusion dance requires both to be exactly or about the same power while the potara is suppose to add both power levels and then multiply then.
