I've listened to quite a few Vkei bands. Jiluka's music has such a rich, depth to it. It sounds amazing! Much better than a lot of bands I've listened to.
This is pretty awesome stuff (just came across this band now), but why do Jiluka's instruments sound like samples? The drums and guitars just sound kind of... fake. Lol.

This is technical metalcore djent or "djent-core" new genre
I'm pretty sure they make heavy usage of noise gate pedals(to facilitate the djenty 'start-stop' riffing), that's the reason why it sounds unnatural.
